WHAT GUYS KNOW AND WHEN WITH THE DRAFT, THE REY MYSTERIO-ALBERTO DEL RIO CONNECTION, WRESTLING'S MOUNT RUSHMORE, IS SIN CARA WORKING AND MORE

Why do the writers insist on keeping Del Ro & Rey on the same program? Please don't tell me they will feud…again?

Rey was moved since Sin Cara was going to Smackdown, where the transition to WWE from lucha will be easier on him.  Cara and Rey are very similar, so it makes sense to separate them. I agree though, it's time to move Rey far away from Alberto. Alberto needs to be on top of the card.

If the PWInsider.com crew were able to have a statue/mountain and make your own Mount Rushmore to Pro Wrestling, What four Pro Wrestling Great faces would be on your mountain?

If you were asking me who belongs based on their contributions to the business, their all time status, the money they drew, etc., I would have to say Hulk Hogan, Ric Flair, Steve Austin and The Rock (and it would tough for me to leave off others, like Roddy Piper).  If you are asking me my personal fab four, that is even tougher.  I will go with Flair, Terry Funk, Austin and The Rock (and again it's so hard to leave off Piper, Shawn Michaels, The Undertaker, etc.).

Is it just me or has the man formerly known as Mistico lost some of his appeal with the new costume and persona? I understand the name change due to copyright issues, but something about that mask just looks lame Saturday morning cartoonish. Were they unable to use the classic mask as well? Do you guys believe the traditional name/costume/persona would have been a bigger hit?

It doesn't bother me at all to be honest.  The costume is only part of the overall act in my opinion and to me the masses wouldn't have known him as Mistico either.  The fact of the matter is that WWE likes to own their acts, and they own Sin Cara.  Plus, if/when he leaves, he can go back to Mexico and be Mistico again.  To me what matters is what he produces in the ring.

In re: to the WWE draft, how much legitimacy is there insofar as picks being random and w/out talents prior knowledge? Is it all predetermined?

From what we have been told over the years, most of them find out when their name is called.  I believe that the top guys do get advance notice, but most of the guys aren't told in advance (or at least very far in advance).

Why in the blue hell does Eric Bischoff and Vince Russo continue to get hire as creative team? I mean they ruined WCW, and now they are running TNA into the ground which saddens me.

That is indeed a million dollar question.  In the case of Russo, he got in due to his relationship with Jeff Jarrett and Dixie Carter grew to like and trust him after she took over.  In the case of Bischoff, he was brought in as part of the Hulk Hogan deal and whether you like him or not, one thing he is good at is maximizing his position when given the opportunity. That is what he has done in TNA.  I agree that overall the numbers don't bear out that bringing those two in was a good call.  I think new ideas and a new direction would greatly help the product.
