I've been thinking about this lately and wanted to get your take on it. Could a territory system kind of like the old NWA work today? Imagine having several local groups all under the banner of a larger, national organization. Each 'territory' would have it's own champion and storylines but there would also be an overall "World" Champion for the group. A TV show (maybe starting off as a web-only show) would showcase what was going on in each area. I'm thinking something like the old "Pro Wrestling This Week" with Joe Pedicino. The world champ would travel from one area to the next defending the title, just like the old NWA champ. If promoted and marketed properly I think something like this could work. Instead of trying to build a whole new franchise (like the WWP group that never happened) it would build off of existing indie groups. It would obviously need to be on a small scale and not try to grow too fast but it could become a viable alternative to WWE and TNA. What do you think?

I don't see it working.  Where does the money come from?  With no TV (and no one is looking to add wrestling programming or an established group like ROH would have it) you need to make money somewhere, which basically leaves Internet PPV, merchandise sales and house shows.  With nothing to get the word out, it will be hard to draw.  Beyond that, with no money to pay stars, there will be very few guys that people will pay to see.  The territories are a relic from another time, like typewriters, VCRs and video stores.  Time has passed them by.

During backstage segments, sometimes it shows guys have private locker rooms. Do they really or is it one for the guys and one for all the girls?

Generally, they have rooms that a few of the talents dress in.  The locker room segments we see are more for show.

I have been a life-long fan of the WWE and have been to many live shows every time they come within driving distance. However, I have recently stopped watching the product with the younger guys attacking the Hall of Famers. I recently tuned in to see Jack Swagger attacking Jim Ross who IMO is the greatest announcer of all time. I just wonder if WWE considers the long-term effects that this might have on their product? I for one have now given all of my attention to TNA. I don't think I will ever watch a WWE event again because of that.

I highly doubt that they have considered the long-term effects because honestly I don't think there are any.  The business is, after all, a work.  All the Swagger-JR segment did was make people want to see JR get his payback.  I have enjoyed it. With that said, given the Dr. Heiney segment, which was far more insulting to Jim Ross than the Swagger angle, why were you still watching WWE to begin with?

When a wrestler comes out to the ring and states that he is a 10 / 13 / 16 / 23 times champion, why doesn't the other guy in the promo just point out that they must also be a 10 / 13 / 16 / 23 times championship loser????

I can't remember who it was that did it, but I do remember someone in the past saying exactly that.  It is a very good point.

What do you think about the whole, "Hogan in charge of TNA" storyline? I personally don't like it but that's just me.

I agree with you.  I think there is a place for Hogan in the business.  He is a legend after all.  However, him trying to play the Mr. McMahon character just isn't working for me either.  And every time he calls someone he supposedly hates "brother" it just rings the bell at the top of the dope-o-meter.  It's too much soap opera and not enough entertainment.  For example, the 4/21 edition of Impact had a lot of good stuff on it.  The only two downers were Hogan and the Winter-Angelina stupidity.  Hogan doesn't need to be dominating my TV every Thursday night.
