EDGE'S FUTURE IN WWE, COLE VS. DIVAS, THAT'S WHAT I AM AND MORE

By Mike Johnson on 2011-04-19 10:03:18
On a recent Raw right after her match with The Bella Twins Eve Torres climbed onto the top turnbuckle when Michael Cole crawled out from his "bunker" to announce an upcoming event. That's twice that Cole has involved himself into the moments involving Eve Torres. At Wrestlemania 27 Michael Cole took on Jerry Lawler. Hows this? Cole vs Torres w/special guest referee Lawler himself? Or maybe even The Rock? What do you think?

While it won't happen at Wrestlemania obviously, I wouldn't be shocked to see them put the Cole heel persona against a Diva down the line for sheer comedy.

Now that Edge has retired from wrestling where that leave him with WWE? Is he still employed by WWE not as a wrestler but an a represenative of the company? Is he paid the same as a wrestler now that he has announced his retirement or has his salary changed since then?

Edge remains employed by the company. He would still be paid his downside guarantee (unless he's made far more than his downside at this point for the calendar year). He has a WWE Studios film coming out later in the year and will be part of the company going forward in roles to be determined.

On a recent Smackdown both Michelle McCool & Layla had a confrontation which led McCool into shoving Layla. What is the possibility of LayCool breaking up? If it does who do you see becoming fan favorite and a heel?

It all depends on where WWE wants to go, but McCool is the natural heel in my mind.

Am I the only one who thinks TNA would be absolutely nuts to let Mick Foley gladly go on RAW for the Rock's birthday celebration????? The only way if I ran TNA I would let one of my employees go on the other show would be if they plugged TNA in the process. But would Vince Do that? Your thoughts?

Vince would never allow it to happen and TNA would look bad to let one of their contracted employees do that. I am still surprised they allowed Ric Flair to attend the WWE Hall of Fame. It sets a bad precedent for their company, no matter the reason.

What does the Randy Orton film have to do with WWE? It seems totally out of place for their style of movies.

That's exactly the point. They want to have a completely working studio with all sorts of film genres being produced.
