Why do I have the feeling of deja vu with the current Cena/Miz match for WM27. I see the Miz getting pushed aside to push the dust up between Cena and The Rock. To me this is a repeat of history. Chris Jericho was put in a similar position at WM19 against Triple H. He kinda took a back seat to the storyline divorce between Hunter and Steph. It made Jericho look weak in my mind and it is having the same effect on the Miz. While I am not his biggest fan he has busted his butt to get where he is. Why does Vince , other than Cena is one of his boys, continue to book his champions this way?

Over the last few weeks, The Miz has gotten a ton of heat on John Cena. That can mean one of two things. My hope is that it means that Vince McMahon has finally realized that the has not done a good job of pushing young talent and creating new stars, and has turned over a new leaf. My hope is that Miz will score the pin and look strong before anything were to happen with Rock and Cena, even if Rock does something to lead to the pin happening.  On the other hand, my fear is that Miz will be made to be a secondary player in the feud between Rock and Cena and if that happens, it would be a huge mistake.  The only reasonable answers as to why Vince books Cena as Superman are that one, he trusts him implicitly and doesn't see him leaving WWE in the lurch and two he thinks that is what the kid fans need.  I disagree with him on both if that is the case.

While the segments between The Rock and John Cena have been one of the most entertaining aspect of WWE is that really a good thing? I know that the ultimate payoff here will not be a match or anything of the like. On the flip side, time and more importantly focus is being taken away from the wrestlers like The Miz. It seems like Cena-Miz which should be the main focus of Wrestlemania is taking a back seat to Cena-Rock. How does it speak about WWE's product when a person who is presumably challenging for the most prestigious championship in the company is not completely focused on the task. It almost seems as if the WWE Championship is taking backseat to a "war of words" between Cena and Rock. It seems as if the WWE is in essence devaluing their own title. I like that Rock is back, but the way the WWE has presented this, it seems like Cena spent all his time coming up with his reply to Rock and treated the Miz and the WWE as a side project, when in reality it should be the main focus. What do you think about this?

For one thing, we don't know that there won't be a match now that Rock has stated he may wrestle again.  So if that is where they are going, it takes on a different direction altogether.  Even if Rock doesn't wrestle, he is a megastar and a former champion so I don't have a problem with him being a focal point, especially since Miz thus far has been elevated in the process as well.  The big key to me will be what happens at Mania and afterwards with the three men.

What's the deal with that thing Scott Steiner wears on his head during his ring entrance? He looks like he's headed to a Renaissance festival, not a wrestling match.

It's the only way he can get reception on the radio that he listens to during matches.  Well, that and he thinks it's cool and adds to his look.

Poor Jerry Lawler. He seems like the Rodney Dangerfield of the WWE. His gal gets fired, so he quits. Then she dumps him, and he comes back. Now, after all these years, he finally gets a match at Wrestlemania. But who do they give him as an opponent? Someone with some talent? Someone with some experience? No, they give him Michael Cole! And if that is not insulting enough, so that no matter what happens…he loses! If he beats Cole, then everyone will say, so what..How hard was that? If he wins by means other than himself, by way of Swagger or Austin, then that taints his win, and people won't think much of the win. And if he loses…OMG, if he loses..if I were him I would quit! I just cannot figure why WWE would put him in the HOF and then treat him like this. What do you think?

First off, I don't think Vince McMahon is insane.  This match has to have Lawler go over.  Given his age, I don't think he can reasonably have a problem with this match.  It has been booked very well thus far and it seems like he will win.  Yeah, it's not a WWE Title shot but he will finally get on Mania and should get a win.  I have no problem with any of it.

How far is TNA from taking Impact on the road every week and broadcasting live?

I don't think we are close.  It's a lot more expensive to broadcast live, for a number of reasons.  It makes more sense to keep expenses down and run tapings in bunches.  I think they will go on the road more often but I don't think we are anywhere close to them broadcasting live every week.
