MONDAY NIGHT COLE, WHY RAW IS NUMBER ONE AND MORE

What do you think of a Money In The Bank match for a shot at the tag titles at Wrestlemania?

No chance.  WWE has not put that much of a priority on the tag belts in recent years, to the point that there have been Wrestlemanias without the tag champs even wrestling on the PPV broadcast.

How big of a ratings boost do you think Raw would get if they devoted their entire two hour show to the exploits of Michael Cole? Picture for one week only the show becomes Monday Night Cole!!!! Being a devoted Cole Miner, I'd know I'd be glued to my seat.

As entertaining as the Cole heel character is, I think two hours might be a bit of an overkill for most of the audience that aren't "Cole Miners" like yourself.

Regardless of what you think there are plenty of TNA fans who read this site. However your looking back columns looking at recent TNA shows have become so negative you really should consider dropping them. You want to keep posting thoughts on WWE shows and keep saying it works for you that's fine but maybe one day you'll realize that the Rock is appearing temporarily, JR has been replaced and Terry Funk belongs in a nursing home. Time to take the blindfolds off

I should probably point out that the above question was sent by the same person who wants "Monday Night Cole" for two hours.  My job with the "Looking At" columns is to give my opinions on the shows.  I owe it to the readers of this website to be honest in those opinions.  If I like something, I say it.  If I don't, I say that as well.  To do otherwise would be a disservice to the readers that keep this site going.  I know TNA fans read the site, and some of them agree with what I write, and some disagree.  They have that right, just as I have the right to my opinion.  And, not that I see a connection, but I am well aware the Rock's appearances will not be on a consistent basis, just because Jim Ross has been replaced does not mean I can't wish he was still announcing, and if Terry Funk was in a nursing home, it would be one crazy nursing home to visit.  I'm not sure what you mean by "blindfolds" but my vision is clear and I will continue to "call it like I see it" when it comes to my opinion columns here on the site.

Is the reason Raw is the most successful wrestling TV show simply the fact that it's on live, and not subject to the spoilers that accompany Smackdown and Impact?? If people didn't know what was happening each week then I'm sure more would tune in to find out than currently don't tune in because they know what's going to happen and don't like the sound of it.....

While I am sure there is a small percentage of fans that don't check out a show because they read spoilers, I find it hard to believe the number would be so large that it would have a huge bearing on ratings.  Raw is the top show because it is in a great timeslot, is on a huge cable network and has the most promotion of any wrestling show on television today. It is the flagship show for the biggest wrestling company in the world, and the ratings reflect that.

In your opinion will WWE ever send David Otunga back to FCW to develop his skills, lord knows he needs it.

I agree, he could use the work, and I would hope WWE has Otunga continue to go back to Florida to work on his skills.  I understand that WWE sees value in him as a TV performer because of his high profile as the husband of Jennifer Hudson, but he definitely needs work on his in-ring skills.  They've had plenty of performers appear on WWE TV while also working in FCW, so there is no reason Otunga can't continue to do the same.
