ZIGGLER AND MORRISON BEING INCLUDED IN SNOOKI'S WRESTLING DEBUT, MICKIE JAMES' MUSIC VS. TNA, BOOKS ON WOMEN IN WRESTLING AND MUCH MORE

How come once again WWE has just dropped the John Morrison push, especially right before Wrestlemania? He went from being the #1 contender to the WWE Championship to having a mixed tagged match at Wrestlemania with a retired diva and a reality TV star. To throw this random storyline together 20 days before Wrestlemania is unfair to someone who has worked very hard, has tremendous ability, and has been a part of many of the best matches in the last few months. Same goes for Ziggler too. He was also a #1 contender to a world title and technically speaking is a former world champion. By themselves, these two guys can put on an awesome match, so why make it so much worse than it could be? What do you think?

While I agree Ziggler and Morrison can have an awesome singles match, I see their inclusion in the Snooki appearance as a blessing. They went from being somewhere on the undercard to being included in a featured attraction. If some of the attention on Snooki brings Morrison or Ziggler some mainstream interviews or attention, it helps them become more well known outside of pro wrestling fandom. I am all for it.

With all the different books and interviews that have been done, why has no one every really wrote something substantial on the role of women in wrestling and the stories that surround women in the business. Moolah had a great book but, with Sunny coming into the Hall of Fame I hear more and more stories about women in wresting that Moolah never touched on. It seems that kind of stuff is really a product of the Diva era of wrestling. Why no tell all books about the stuff that has gone on to women in the business both good and the very bad? It is an interesting topic don't you think? Look at how interested people are in the Sunny Days comment and if it is true or not. There has to be hundreds of other stories just as interesting.

I've heard Sunny is working on a book but you might want to look into finding a copy of the books on MIldred Burke or the Penny Banner autobiography. Each of those books go deep into the topics you discuss.

You guys often talk about a great program or storyline (stuff like Raven Vs. Tommy comes to mind). What do you think of having DVDs dedicated to entire stories rather then a single show or person. Like a DVD that follows 4 or 5 great programs that a group or set of individuals had with each other that build a great storyline. Which storylines would you put on the very first DVD if you have 4 or 5 on a single DVD (matches and promos included in each set) and why?

I absolutely love the idea. When I was scripting the Pioneer Home Video ECW DVD line, one of the things I pitched was a Tommy Dreamer vs. Raven feud DVD. Sadly, they never put the idea into production. WWE is doing a Steve Austin vs. The Rock set later this year, so it appears your idea might be put into use. Bring on the Steamboat vs. Flair set please!

Love the site!! I've been an elite member for a long, long time and love what I get for paying the reasonable cost. One of my favorite parts of the site is the audio sections. Now, I know how to get my questions into the Q&A but how do I get my questions into either of the mailbag shows? How do you decide which questions are mailbag worthy and which are Q&A worthy? When people send questions to the mailbag should they consider which show to send them to? For example if I have an Andre the Giant question I need to send the question to the show buck is on right?

You can send the questions to whatever Elite audio mailbag you wish by emailing the address on those specific posts. We answer everything that is sent in but due to the volume of questions (we literally have 200 plus emails for the MJ Mailbag and I suspect as many or more for Dave and Buck's Mailbag), they take a while to answer. If you want a specific person's take on a topic, you should send it there. That's the only rule I'd advise you to follow!

Are you surprised how active Mickie James has been in TNA? When she left WWE to focus on her music career I figured her TNA run would only to stay in the minds of her core fans, but she is around a lot more then I thought she would be. Is her music career not going well?

She left WWE because they let her go. While she is working on her musical career, the reality is that so are thousands of others. Her wrestling fame helps get her some fans for sure but unless she falls into a ton of money, she's still got to pay her bills while she pursues her music hopes. Working for TNA is how she's doing that. I don't recall James ever saying she was leaving wrestling and there's no reason she cannot do both.
