What are your current thoughts on Sheamus? I have to say I was really down on him a year ago but recently he has impressed me greatly.

I think he is a good worker with a ton of potential. I have no idea why WWE had him be the guy who laid out Triple H and then booked him like a jabroni.  It makes no sense to me.  I just hope that they are past that and start using him effectively again.

On the February 25th edition of SmackDown!, Big Show hit Justin Gabriel in the head with a chair. It didn't seem like a mistake, he swung the chair overhead and hit him. Isn't WWE punishing guys for that? I thought I read that it became part of their Wellness Policy recently.

You are correct.  It could also be that Show just forgot but still it shouldn't happen.  Given what we know about concussions, it's stupid to do spots like that in a worked sport.

Why did TNA let Jeff Hardy go out to the ring in the condition he was in at Victory Road? Did they not realize how messed up he was backstage? I noticed after he stumbled his way to the ring he walked over to Brian Hebner who then did the "X" signal (which I've been told means something is wrong), which leads me to believe they apparently had no idea their PVP main event was about to be a complete trainwreck. Also, have you heard what Bischoff said to Hardy when he leaned in to him in the ring and said something away from the mic?

From what we were told, earlier in the evening he was fine.  Then he wasn't.  TNA didn't have someone babysitting him the whole night because, well, people had real jobs to do.  I guess now they realize that the need to keep Jeff in daycare while he is at work so that he doesn't get into trouble.  Maybe they should just lock him in a room or something so he can't get into trouble.  How sad is that?

When Brian Christopher came out, I thought it was a mini Dusty Rhodes! And so I thought that the segment would end with him and Jerry Lawler teaming up and turning on Cole. And here's what I don't get. Swagger attacks JR, and then Lawler, yet no one ran in to help? As respected and liked as JR is..an no one tried to save him? I guess the writers were pressed for time..lol

I honestly didn't have a problem with it.  To me, it put focus on the feud.  Yeah, guys could have run out but they were telling a story there and the story trumped all for me.  I liked how much heat it put on Cole.

I'll give TNA the benefit of the doubt and assume they put some real thought into how to handle the main event at Victory Road (but ultimately made the wrong call). Do you know what their rationale was for choosing to have Hardy squashed? Were they trying to send a message and humiliate him? For the purposes of minimizing the negative fan reaction it would have made much more sense to have some mystery backstage attacker lay out Hardy, so someone had to fill in for him in the main event. This would give them the benefit of a potential story down the line (if / when Hardy got his act straight, and assuming the company didn't fire him) to figure out who was the mystery attacker, etc...

Basically, he came to the gorilla position to the ring in a different condition than he was earlier and they had very little time to make the call since the show was live.  They should have had Mr. Anderson attack Hardy and lay him out and take the match he deserved (in the story lines) or something like that, but maybe Anderson was already showering.  Their rationale for squashing Hardy?  Take your pick.  It was to keep him from hurting Sting.  It was to keep him from hurting himself.  It was to send that message that when you act like an unprofessional slug you will get jobbed out and sent home.  Actually, all three work for me.  On top of that, if I ran TNA there is NO rationale where I would be thinking about bringing Jeff back at this time.  If he is lucky enough to avoid jail, he would have to prove to me beyond a shadow of a doubt that he has cleaned his act up before I would even THINK of using him again.  He has run through his nine lives.
