WHY TOD GORDON'S BOOK WAS NEVER RELEASED, WHY THE X-DIVISION HAS TAKEN SO MANY STEPS BACKWARDS, HBK IN THE WWE HALL AND MORE

By Mike Johnson on 2011-03-20 10:00:00

Several years ago, ECW founder Tod Gordon was slated to have an autobiography come out.  Whatever happened to it?

As it was explained to me when the book was shelved, Gordon was unhappy with the delays the publisher had in getting the book out and realized that by the time the book would have hit the shelves, interest in ECW would have been stone cold dead thanks to the WWE version of ECW dismantling the original company's aura.  So, he refused to sign off on the book, realizing that a lot of money was lost from the delays and it sort of went into suspended animation.  I don't believe a finished version ever saw the light of day, which is a shame as it was a title I was really looking forward to reading and I hope one day it finally gets released.

Can you please answer this one question? Why won't Jeff Jarret just go away? WWE just didn't want him,WCW put him in the main event because they basically had no one else at the time and Vince fired him the first night he bought WCW and the fans were literally chanting JUST GO HOME at one point in TNA like I have seen very few other gimmicks that are as annoying as his, why is it he continues to stay around when no one seems to care about him other then money which he can make doing a backstage role?

Jarrett is a heel and based on your email, he's doing exactly what his job entails - making you hate him.  That's why he doesn't go away.  Oh, and he's a minority owner in the company.

Earlier today you announced when the TLC PPV will be released on dvd, my question is will it also be released on Blu-ray as well?

Unfortunately, that show wasn't released in Blu-Ray.

A simple and sweet question for you Mike; what the heck has happened to TNA's X-Division? Has there been any internal reason given for the division almost falling into a black hole; is there an answer that is even known to this question? What was once a flagship for TNA has becoming something of a "because we have to everyone and a while" type of division it seems. If there is any feedback or insight you can provide myself (and I am sure many other fans wondering the same thing) that would be great!

There are several reasons.  One, some of the talent that was core to that division moved into other storylines or left the company.  Two, regime changes have left the X-Division shelved at different points and it's yet to regain any momentum.  There was talk that the Destination X PPV would be used to spotlight the Division this summer, so keep your fingers crossed.

Who is inducting Shawn Michaels into the WWE Hall of Fame?

We haven't heard who will be inducting Michaels yet, but the top three assumptions are Vince McMahon, Triple H and Bret Hart.  So, we'll see.
