MORE ON WHO MADE THE CALL FOR HULK HOGAN'S VERY QUESTIONABLE VERBIAGE AT LAST NIGHT'S IMPACT TAPING

By Dave Scherer on 2011-03-15 10:55:10
Last night at TNA's Impact taping, Hulk Hogan used the word "Tsunami" when doing a promo, saying that all of the wrestlers in TNA would want to join his tsunami.  Obviously, this was in ridiculously poor taste given the devastation that has taken place in Japan.

Earlier today, he took responsibility for the statement.  There are people irate about him using the word in and out of TNA, and people have asked me who is to blame for him doing it.

In this case, it was Hogan who went off the range.  The segment, as it was written by TNA creative, did not have anything close to that word in it.  Hogan chose to do it himself during the course of the promo.  TNA creative gets blamed for a lot of things but in this case it was not their fault.
