HOW MIZ IS BOOKED AS CHAMPION, WWE IGNORING TAKER VS. TRIPLE H, TNA WITHOUT SPIKETV AND MORE

By Mike Johnson on 2011-03-15 10:00:00
I wanted to ask what is the deal with the Miz been booked to look so weak? I mean,if Mcmahon wants new top stars why is he doing this to the Miz.It's obvious that the crowd are getting bored to see their WWE champion doing nothing and wil not have faith in him.You can see that from the crowd reactions lately. Do you think that he will become the new face of WWE?

I would agree that the early portion of his title reign saw Miz booked weakly but the last month of TV has ended with Miz cuttung great promos and taking out John Cena. That's not being booked weakly. I think WWE needed to find Miz's groove and they finally did.

Is WWE not acknowledging the act that Undertaker already beat Triple H at Wrestlemania XVII? Why are they so inconsistent with history of the business? This isn't the first time that they have disregarded past history with superstars.

They aren't acknowledging it because the story is that they are the last two huge stars of that era facing off and the older match has nothing to do with that story. They have done similar things many, many times in the past, most notably acting as if Hulk Hogan and Andre the Giant never wrestled before Wrestlemania III.

If Taker is in fact done after Mania, where does that leave Michelle McCool? Will he still be around because she is or will she step away and be with her husband. Yes she is good, but without Taker around I am not sure the WWE needs her (or with the money Taker has made, she needs them). Does McCool being around pretty much assure the Undertaker will be around in someway?

If Undertaker retires, chances are he will remain under contract to WWE, similar to Shawn Michaels. McCool would be under a WWE deal either way, so I would assume she would continue to work.

With all the talk of the problems in TNA, what is the reality of the state of the company? Is it probable that it will lose a TV contract and possibly need to be sold off like WCW, or are people just making mountains out of mole hills? While the problems are big and real, the company is making enough to stay around right?

No wrestling promotion can stay solvent without their TV exposure, especially when the network is paying them for the programming. I am sure TNA could exist without SpikeTV, since they have the backing of Panda Energy, but they need the TV deals as those are their lifeblood.

Is it just me or have the WWE really loaded up the Wrestlemania show? How would you rank the show so far knowing most of the matches and special attractions by now.

I think they have done a great job building the storylines and balancing the attractions with the matches.
