CREATION OF THE UNDERTAKER'S STREAK, OTUNGA, FEMALE ANNOUNCERS AND MORE

With it being that time of year, The Road To Wrestlemania, plus, being a younger fan, I have always wondered when the whole idea of "The Streak" came to be. Did Vince McMahon want The Undertaker to have the undefeated Wrestlemania streak from the start, or was the idea thought of after the undefeated streak had already been going on?

It was never something that was planned meticulously through the years as much as something the company lucked into by good fortune after years of booking Undertaker to go over against a myriad of opponents at Wrestlemania. It was only within the last five years that the streak became a selling point of Wrestlemania.

I read of a young woman recently who was trained at Team 3D Wrestling School in Florida. She goes by the name of Leva Bates. She recently took part in a try out match at TNA. The reaction from the fans there was positive. Any chance of TNA signing her to a contract?

There's always a chance but thus far, she has not been signed.

I read where legendary wrestling star Abdullah the Butcher will be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. Congradulations to the man. Will he be supplying food from his restaurant at Wrestlemania?

I don't think WWE is going to cater Wrestlemania with ribs and Chinese Food but that would be awesome.

Do you think we'll ever see and hear a female commentator doing a wrestling show/broadcast someday? Imagine no Michael Cole. Instead a woman in his place doing color commentary. Someone with poise, knowledge of the wrestlers and a great voice. Not bad looking either.

I don't see why not. There's no reason a woman couldn't be a great commentator.

In your opinion will WWE ever send David Otunga back to FCW to develop his skills?

They've been punting guys back to developmental so it's entirely possible. The way that the company missed some mainstream exposure by not sending Otunga to accompany his wife Jennifer Hudson at the Oscars red carpet events (instead having him work a house show) could be a sign they don't want him in the public eye as he's going to be heading back down like Husky Harris and Michael McGuillicuty, but there's no official word of that.
