What's your thoughts on a return at Wrestlemania by JBL, not in a wrestling role but as a counter to Alberto Del Rio? And how cool would it be to swerve everyone and have JBL join Del Rio as a corporation after JBL does something to cost Edge his title?
It is an interesting concept, but I don't see JBL returning. He's moved
on to a new (and lucrative) career, and really there is nothing left in
wrestling for him to achieve. Unless he wants to come back for kicks, I
don't see much reason for a return.
In a recent answer, you noted how WWE creative is still able to come up with ideas for Hornswaggle. Maybe they should be less focused on him, and more focused on the wresting talent so they don't lose more performers like Elijah Burke, Colt Cabana, Haas and Benjamin, as well as others, because they have nothing for them.
Maybe they should be. Actually, with all due respect to Hornswoggle, I
definitely think they should be. How WWE saw nothing in Burke still blows
my mind.
Have there been matches that you thought, after seeing live, that you thought were absolute classics only to be disappointed in after watching again? Conversely, have their matches you thought were bad the first time around only to come around to thinking they were pretty
good?
Absolutely, mostly bouts that I watched when I first started getting into wrestling. Obviously, a 11 year old will have a different perspective on matches than someone in their 30's! There's a lot of matches I could mention, but one that comes to mind is most of Wrestlemania 2. As a child, I enjoyed the show, and years later, I watched it and a lot of the matches were incredibly short. On the flip side, there are a lot of matches, especially on the old Saturday TBS shows that I didn't think much of, and going back, were actually really incredible bouts, like Arn Anderson vs. Brad Armstrong.
I watched Raw and saw where The Bella Twins teamed alongside Melina against Gail Kim, Tamina and current Divas champion Eve Torres. I take it that the Bellas are heels now. When did this happen? Â
Apparently, when the Bellas found out Daniel Bryan was an item with Gail Kim, and that he was just being nice to the Bellas because he felt sorry for them, it triggered a heel turn. Yeah, doesn't make a lot of sense to me either.
What is the currently plan for WWE Diva/Smackdown star Kelly Kelly now that she has been "fired" by GM Vickie Guerrero?
As we now know, she has been "rehired" by Theodore R. Long. I'm actually a little surprised they didn't keep her out longer, and show that Drew McIntyre wanted her back in the company. I guess they rushed the storyline to get it done so they could concentrate on Wrestlemania.
