IGN.com is reporting Dwayne Johnson's film "Faster" will be released on DVD and Blu-Ray on 3/1.

The Daily Echo in Great Britain reported the passing of Paul Lincoln, who was wrestled as the masked Dr. Death in the 1950s and 1960s in Europe. Lincoln, who later went on to own and operate a restaurant, passed away due to complications of Parkinson's Disease and cancer. Our condolences to Lincoln's family and friends. A number of outlets, including ABC.net in Australia, have picked up the story of anonymous charitable acts being done in Japan giving the cartoon character "Tiger Mask" the credit. While they don't make the correlation, this is the same Tiger Mask that inspired the masked wrestling character of the same name. You can read the piece by clicking here.

One Entertainment announced yesterday that they had signed an agreement to become the exclusive licensing agent for Mexico's CMLL. "Lucha Libre has long crossed over mainstream popular culture through the quirkiness of its environment, memorable movies, and striking visuals," said David Gebel, managing partner of One Entertainment in an official release about the agreement. "It consists of one of the richest graphic sceneries available in the world of licensing, which truly sets it apart from other forms of the sport. This brand triggers a sense of culture, tradition, and honor." They intend to pursue action figures and clothing, among other forms of licensing. CMLL, one of the oldest promotions in the world, has never pushed international licensing before.
