A DIVAS ROYAL RUMBLE, ADONIS AND MURDOCH, TRIPLE H RETURNING AS A HEEL AND MORE

By Mike Johnson on 2011-01-10 10:00:00
What did you think of the team of Dick Murdoch and Adrian Adonis? I really like them they had good teamwork and and got good heat your thoughts please thank you.

I actually feel they are one of the most underrated teams from that era. There was a real raw, edgy, hardnose feeling to their matches and they were a pair of great heels in their own right, but together, they had a really good team since they were both ring generals to begin with. It will never happen, but I'd love to see a compilation of their work released and it's a shame they aren't mentioned in high acclaim these days.

I know there has been high speculations (and numerous questions) surrounding the return of "The Game" Triple H. From what i can see, WWE seems to be setting up for a feud with Sheamus. He has been unable to win in the last few weeks which I'm thinking will make him angry and call out someone for a match and then Triple H will come out for revenge and we would see this escalate at the Rumble. Do you think this is a decent idea of what the writing staff is doing? Or do you feel he will come back with some other role because he said he wanted to be a heel again?

I think Triple H needs to come back looking for revenge on Sheamus just based on what his character has been for the last decade. He wouldn't just return and go on to new goals when someone took him out. That would go against everything they have built for him. I do think we'll see a HHH heel turn and title run again before it's all said and done.

So with Wade Barrett transferring to SmackDown! and presumably entering a program with Big Show. Are we more likely to see a new finishing move out of Wade because of the we saw in him difficulty in giving Wasteland to Mark Henry who is smaller than Big Show or build up of can he pull it off like hyping the Hogan/Andre Slam?

Time will tell but if he can pull the Wasteland out on Show, that will be a hell of a visual.

Would it make sense if the WWE Divas had their own version of the Royal Rumble match with the winner getting a title shot at Wrestlemania?

While I wouldn't put this on the Rumble PPV, it's actually a pretty interesting idea for a Raw or Smackdown to build to a title shot. Makes sense to me but I don't know if WWE would want to invest that much time in a Divas bout given how short they keep a lot of the in-ring time to for the women's segements.

Before arriving in TNA Knockout star Madison Rayne was once a part of the all womens wrestling promotion SHIMMER. She teamed alongside another woman by the name of Nevaeh. They eventually became the first ever SHIMMER tag team champions. Nevaeh is a very promising and talented wrestler. Any plans of her being signed by TNA and eventually teaming with her again as well as taking part in single matches?

I think TNA sees Rayne as a singles star. I haven't heard anything on Nevaeh.
