WHAT HAPPENED WHEN RAW WENT OFF THE AIR, WHERE BRET HART WAS TONIGHT

By Mike Johnson on 2010-10-19 00:39:50
For those of you who were wondering where Bret Hart was tonight, well, he was backstage. He just wasn't seen on television, since he wasn't part of the Bragging Rights PPV build.

After Raw went off the air, however, Hart made a grand return to his hometown of Calgary, Alberta Canada, acting as the Guest Enforcer in the dark match main event with Randy Orton defending the WWE championship against Wade Barrett, John Cena and Sheamus. The match immediately became a three way bout as Barrett ordered Cena to the back.

Orton pinned Barrett with an RKO. The Nexus (sans Cena) hit the ring, only for Bret to help Orton and lock Heath Slater in the Sharpshooter to close the show. WWE did have cameras filming the moment, which was said to be pretty cool and emotional with some fans at ringside actually crying as Hart took his final bow, making his way around the ring and towards the back.
