What was the reason that WWE stopped doing it's brand exclusive PPVs? Once they did the split, I thought it was a good idea, as it allowed more talent to get on PPV, and matches wouldn't be so repetitive. With a brand having it's PPV every other month, even if there was a repeat match from the past show, you had the other brand's show in between that, and it didn't seem as borning. Case in point, the 4 straight Randy Orton vs. John Cena PPV matches we had in 2009.
At the time, the big concern was that fans were staying away from the brand exclusive shows because they weren't "as important" as the shows where Raw and Smackdown were both involved. When you add in that the Raw roster was always more loaded than Smackdown, you had a situation where more fans were not ordering the Smackdown-only events. That situation only looked to get worse as Smackdown's penetration was going to lessen with the UPN-CW changes. So, WWE got away from the concept.
Besides Rey Mysterio, who has been the lightest World champion (WWE)?
Jeff Hardy would be the lightest after Rey, but Shawn Michaels and Eddie Guerrero are close. You have to keep in mind that weights are often exaggerated in WWE, but it would be one of the three.
Ted DiBiase Jr. - World Champ. Thoughts?
Not any time soon. Sadly, WWE has really
done him a disservice with the storylines, feuds and booking he has
gotten. A year ago, I would have given a very different answer. Now,
they need to rebuild him in the eyes of fans.
What happens if in a Career VS Career match, it ends in a double DQ/Countout/Pin?
Do they both retire or not?
I say you restart the match.
Why was Bruce Hart not brought into WWE? And was this part of the reason he was
special guest Ref at WM26?
This is just an opinion, but Bruce was not nearly as talented as Bret or Owen. In fact, Bruce was going to be brought in to WWF following the Survivor Series where the Hart Family faced Jerry Lawler and his Knights (changed to Shawn Michaels and the Knights), but reportedly Bret himself said Owen was the better choice. Bruce was a solid brawler and a good tag wrestler, but he wasn't in the league of Bret and Owen. He was the referee at Wrestlemania because Bret wanted roles for his siblings on the show.
