By Mike Johnson on 2010-09-27 10:27:11
Multichannel News featured a piece today on WWE shifting Smackdown from MyNetworkTV over to SyFy with this Friday's debut.  The article noted the debut broadcast will be sponsored by Five Enerhy Drink and reviewed a lot of the promotion and marketing WWE has done to educate fans as to the series' new home.   “This move gives us virtually the same household penetration [as MyNetworkTV], so we’re not really worried about the transition,” WWE's Michelle Wilson said. “[With] our loyal audience, along with Syfy’s loyal audience and its household penetration, we’re confident that this will be a great move for us.”  You can read the complete article, which also noted there will likely be WWE personality appearances on other SyFy programming, as Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase have recently made, by clicking here.
