EVAN BOURNE'S PUSH, MICHAEL COLE BEING ANNOYING, TRIPLE CROWN AND MORE

By Buck Woodward on 2010-09-03 10:00:00

What is the obsession Vince Russo has with people fighting for 'control' of the company? It seems every plot has this device, from the Main Event Mafia to the Nash/Jarrett feud to Fortune/TNA. Is this his only plot?

Russo-led creative teams do seem to like that storyline, going back to the "Sports Entertainment Xtreme" group in the early days of TNA, and the "Powers That Be" storyline in WCW.  For whatever reason, Russo likes these "shootish" storylines where people attempt to take control of the company, rather than just going for championships.

How do you all feel about the increased exposure of Michael Cole and his "Hater" attitude? His hate towards Daniel Bryan not to mention his MAN-CRUSH on The Miz and his outright obnoxious attitude when receiving e-mails from the GM....all annoying!!! Where do you see this going? Is it just a new found attitude, or a "heel turn" maybe leading to JR's return?

It's annoying, but his announcing wasn't very good anyway.  At the very least, if this leads to him getting knocked out by Daniel Bryan or someone, it will have a purpose.  Otherwise, it just appears to be annoying for the sake of being annoying.  As for it leading to a Jim Ross return, that is not the case, unfortunately.

What happened to Evan Bourne's push? One minute, he's getting backed by Cena and teaming with him, and now he's being beaten down by Alberto Del Rio on Raw and getting slim air time? I know Del Rio is supposed to be getting pushed, but they just dropped Bourne like a rock. I guess having Cena behind you only lasts a few weeks...

Agreed, they dropped the ball on him big time.  I remember when Bourne was the last man standing in an elimination match with Nexus, and if they had just let him get some offense and an elimination or two, it could have skyrocketed him in the eyes of fans, even in defeat.  Instead, WWE had him squashed, and it has continued that way.

When Most Belts become Unified usually one or more of the belts goes  into retirement & the other belts are forgotten. Why in All Japan have they  been using the Original 3 Triple Crown & 4 Double Cup Belts to represent the title for so long?

All Japan is all about tradition when it comes to the championships, that is why they have stuck with the original belts and never redesigned them or replaced them.  Besides, I think it would be strange to call something the "Triple Crown" and only have one belt for it!

It has been speculated that the mysterious female biker is the returning Tara. Some think it could be Lacey Von Erich. Recently on Impact! I saw where Velvet Sky was ordering the woman around. If it was indeed Tara under that helmet I don't think she'd take kindly to being ordered about like that. It doesn't look like her. Has Tara returned? If not who is the lady in black? When do you see the mystery finally being resolved?

Last night on Impact.  Sorry we didn't get to the question sooner!
