WWE MONDAY NIGHT RAW SPOILERS FOR TONIGHT

Sheamus came out and talked about how kids in America are spoiled, he actually went around the ring area calling kids out. He said the biggest spoiled baby was Randy Orton and Sheamus hopes the Raw GM won't grant Orton another match.  Cue the lights and Mac sounds because the GM has sent an email. The GM says two pieces of information.  One, that based on how impressed he was by Nexus last week, the ban on Nexus receiving title opportunities is lifted! Also, the GM says that he is going to do something he has never done before.  Let SHEAMUS pick the #1 contender for Night of Champions.  In fact the GM has a throne brought to the stage for Sheamus to sit and watch from. Sheamus must make his announcement at the end of the show.

This leads to Match #1  - Edge vs R-Truth.

Both men get some offense but ultimately it is Edge who comes out with the victory.

Edge grabs a mic and say Sheamus might have beaten a lot of guys but he has never beaten the nine time champ and Rated R superstar.  They have a stare down and Edge leaves.

Cena is interviewed about Miz.  It was basically the same old John Cena promo.  "Miz has a bad attitude...and tonight...I'm gonna give him an attitude adjustment" Yup.  promo king.  John Cena.

The next match is Chris Jericho vs The Great Khali with RunjIn Singh

Khali gets his I'm big and strong schtick outta the way but in the end Jericho takes the big man off his feet, puts him in the walls of Jericho and makes Khali TAP!

Jericho grabs a mic and tells Sheamus that while Edge can talk about nine title reigns he cannot claim to be the first Undisputed Champion, which...if you look in wrestling history...neither can Jericho...but I digress...

So while Jericho is in the top turnbuckle talking to Sheamus he fails to see the risen Khali come up from behind and knock Jericho off of the top.

Jericho and Khali leave and then the Nexus come out...Barrett goes over to Sheamus on the throne, and says "Our truce...is over." (Since now Nexus can go after championship gold now)

Sheamus leaves after Nexus.

Miz is in his locker room being interviewed by Josh about what Cena says, Miz calls Cena an egomaniac and that Miz is not because @Summerslam Miz could have EASILY cashed in his Money in the Bank after the Orton attack on Sheamus, but he chose not to...instead...he focused on the Team WWE vs Nexus match. He wants Cena to suffer the same public embarresment that he felt when Cena told him about Daniel Bryan.

Next match.

Divas Championship Match: Jillian vs Melina.

Shocking to no one...Melina wins with a sunset flip powerbomb. After the match Laycool come on screen and say that next week is the 900th episode of Raw and they will be there with an offer for Melina that she won't wanna pass up.

Miz and Cena are seen walking to the ring.

Next match: Cena vs Miz

Miz gets a TON of offense til Super Cena does that series of moves that tends to mean the end but when he locks in the STF, The Miz gets to the ropes. Attitude Adjustment leads to Miz outside the ring and Daniel Bryan behind him, Bryan attacks Miz and throws him back to the ring but the ref rings the bell as Cena AAs him. Miz wins via DQ. Daniel Bryan puts Miz in a submission and while Miz taps the refs break it up...Bryan leaves but comes back for more. The refs break it up again, though Miz tapped again.

Next match was Santino and Kozlov vs the Usos with Tamina

Santino and Kozlov win.  Tamina flirts with Santino much to the dismay of the Usos.

Next up...Triple Threat.- Orton vs John Morrison vs Ted DiBiase

Orton wins after Morrison tries to do a flying forearm that gets turned into a RKO. Pin and win for Orton who RKOs DiBiase just for old time's sake.

Sheamus says he is making his announcement in a few minutes.

Sheamus comes out and says forget Night of Champions as his title match is going happen tonight and Sheamus is giving a "rising star" the chance...enter the #1 Contender Zack Ryder.  He gets in the ring and gets a Brogue kick for his troubles...1-2-3.

Sheamus says because of rules and regulations he doesn't have to defend the WWE Title for another 30 days so he is taking the PPV off.  Enter Wade Barrett who decides he wants to use his NXT Season 1 victory title match at Night of Champions against Sheamus.  The GM sends Michael Cole and email.  People groan.  The GM says that since Sheamus is talking about opportunity...the GM is going to grant Wade Barrett his match but also give 4 others an "opportunity"

Those 4 others are:

Chris Jericho
Edge
Randy Orton
John Cena.

The Night of Champions WWE Title Match will be a Six-Pack Challenge.

All six men get in the ring and stare.  Sheamus pushes Barrett into the other 4, all five men surround Barrett and do a Nexus style beat down, then they stare at each other.
