FLORIDA WRESTLING PERSONALITY A FINALIST AT WORLD SERIES OF POKER, CHUBBY DUDLEY UPDATE (YES, REALLY), DDP, CZW AND MORE

David "Shirt" Tuthill, an independent ring announcer from Florida, is the current chip leader in the No Limit Hold'em event at the World Series of Poker. The field of 2,099 is now down to a final table with only five remaining. Tuthill is on track to win over a half million dollars.  We'll update how he finally places in the morning.  The entire Florida wrestling community is going insane following him tonight.

Chris Hero will return to CZW on 6/12 at the ECW Arena, facing Ego Fantastico.  The show is headlined by CZW Tag Team champs Drake Younger & Eddie Kingston vs. Masada & Brain Damage.

Where Are They Now: Bag "Chubby Dudley" Ragni of original ECW fame is currently part of Philadelphia-area punk band The Dead Gerber Babies, who are currently entered in a contest where they could end up opening locally for Kiss on Kiss' summer tour.  For those interested in voting, click here.

From the "You Can't Escape Wrestling" department: Several friends and I were out to dinner at the Jekyll and Hyde restaurant in New York City tonight.  As we were preparing to leave, what came on the sound system, of ALL THINGS? The Jeff Jarrett/BG James song "Be With My Baby Tonight."  Yes, really.  How random and oddball is THAT?
