FCW TELEVISION REPORT: KAVAL WRESTLES FOR THE FCW TITLE

We start off with Kaval’s comments to Justin Gabriel during last week’s show as well as Wade Barrett’s comments to Kaval and the team work by Kaval and Gabriel to take care of Barrett only to see Kaval attack Gabriel with a drop kick.

We are live on tape from Tampa, Florida and your announcers are Byron ‘Is this what I get for being on ECW’ Saxton and Abraham ‘Is this what I get for being on ECW’ Washington.

Match Number One: Bo and Duke Rotundo versus Derrick Bateman and Adam Atherton

Bateman and Bo start things off and Bateman with a waist lock but Bo with a take down. Batetman with a hip toss and drop kick followed by a forearm to the back. Atherton tags in and Bo with a hip toss to Atherton and then Duke tags in and punches Atherton followed by a boot to the head by Bo and flying forearm from Duke. Duke with an overhead pump handle slam. Bo tags in and they hit an elbow from the turnbuckles for the three count as Duke hits a side slam at the same time.
Winners: Bo and Duke Rotundo

We go to the ringside interview area and Courtney Taylor has the uneasy task of interviewing her former boyfriend Alex Riley. Courtney asks Alex about his claims that he is the uncrowned champion but she points out that he had a number of chances. She brings up that he has now gone on to fail in his opportunity to become the FCW Tag Champion. Alex plays with his hair and then he says that it has been three or four months and says that Courtney looks fantastic. Courtney tells Alex that it has been six or seven months. Alex says that he might have made a mistake. Courtney wants to get back on the interview and talk about the FCW Title. Alex says that he respects the slacker champion. He does not respect that Wade Barrett is cutting corners. Alex says that he will get the title and he will do it with an ounce of integrity.

Alex leaves, but then he has something else to say. He tells Courtney that his current girlfriend found one of Courtney’s dresses.

We go to commercial.

Match Number Two: Johnny Prime versus Joe Doering

They lock up and Doering backs Prime into the corner and he misses a punch on the break. They lock up again and Prime works on the arm but Doering with a forearm. Prime with a side head lock and a punch. Prime with a side head lock but Doering with a punch and back breaker followed by kicks to the back. Doering with a slam and forearm to the back. Doering with another slam and a near fall. Prime with elbows and then he tries to get Doering on his shoulders but Prime could not get him up due to the work that Doering did on Prime’s back. Doering with a rear chin lock with his knee in Prime’s back. Prime with punches but Doering with a forearm and kick to the head. Doering with a forearm to the back as he sends Prime off the ropes. Doering does it a second time and then he stomps on the back. Doering with an Irish whip but Prime with an elbow and kick. Prime with a few running elbows to the head followed by an Irish whip and big boot for a near fall. Doering with a clothesline for a two count. Prime with a sit out Death Valley Driver for the three count.
Winner: Johnny Prime

We go to commercial.

Match Number Three: Johnny Curtis versus Percy Watson

Due to technical difficulties on Bright House’s part, this match was not on the broadcast.

Match Number Four: Serena versus Tiffany

They lock up and Serena backs Tiffany into the corner but misses a punch and Tiffany with a few arm drags followed by an arm bar. Serena pulls Tiffany by the hair and connects with a forearm and side head lock. Tiffany with a take down and shoulder tackle. Tiffany catches Serena and hits a reverse atomic drop followed by a jackknife cover for a near fall. Tiffany with a front face lock but Serena runs Tiffany into the corner and connects with shoulders. Serena with an Irish whip but she misses an elbow into the corner. Tiffany with a cross body from the turnbuckles for a near fall. Tiffany with a float over but Serena sends Tiffany into the turnbuckles a few times and gets a near fall. Serena with kicks to Tiffany and then she pulls Tiffany into the center of the ring for a body scissors. Serena with a rollup as she maintains the body scissors. Serena with a seated abdominal stretch and turns it into an arm bar. Serena tries for a slam but Tiffany escapes the hold. Tiffany and Serena both hit clotheslines and both ladies go down. Tiffany with a running back elbow or two followed by an Irish whip. Tiffany hits a monkey flip out of the corner and then she kicks Serena but Serena with a gut buster from a fireman’s carry for the three count.
Winner: Serena

After the match, Serena pulls out the clippers but the other Divas come to the ring at their own leisurely pace and Serena leaves.

Match Number Five: Kaval versus Justin Gabriel for the FCW Title

Kaval tries to take Gabriel down but Gabriel gets to the ropes and Kaval breaks the hold. Gabriel with a waist lock and take down as Kaval tries to escape and Gabriel holds on until Kaval gets an arm bar. Gabriel with a reverse chin lock into a side head lock and take down. Kaval with a kick when Gabriel releases the hold and then he sends Gabriel into the turnbuckles. Kaval with a head butt to Gabriel but Gabriel with a drop kick and a near fall. Gabriel with a suplex and he floats over into a double underhook for a butterfly suplex and he gets a near fall. Gabriel with a front face lock but Kaval gets to the ropes and Gabriel releases the hold. Gabriel with a kick to the head and sends Kaval’s head into the turnbuckles. Gabriel with an Irish whip and Kaval floats over and he kicks Gabriel away. Gabriel with a spin kick for a near fall. Gabriel with a snap mare and he gets a near fall. Kaval with a head butt to the midsection but Gabriel with a forearm to the back. Kaval with a kick to the leg followed by a snap mare and snap elbow drop for a near fall. Kaval with a double chop to the neck and then he sends Gabriel into the turnbuckles and follows that with a kick to the chest. Kaval sends Gabriel into another turnbuckle and kicks him again. Kaval with a snap mare and figure four head scissors. Gabriel tries to bridge to escape and he turns it into a near fall. Kaval releases the hold and connects with a European uppercut. Gabriel with a forearm but Kaval with two stiff kicks and a belly-to-back suplex for a near fall. Gabriel with a kick and then he sends Kaval into the turnbuckles. Gabriel with a jumping back kick to Kaval and then he tries for a suplex but Kaval blocks it and hits a suplex of his own for a near fall. Kaval with chops to the collarbone followed by a kick to the chest. Gabriel with an Irish whip but he charges into boots and Kaval with a rolling wheel kick for a near fall. We go to commercial.

We are back and Kaval with a hammer lock and he kicks Gabriel in the elbow. Gabriel tries to fight back as he tries to regain feeling in the arm. Kaval gets a near fall on Gabriel. Kaval returns to the arm and he rolls through and tries to put Gabriel in a key lock. Kaval applies the key lock and gets a near fall. Kaval with a slam and then a figure four hammer lock but Gabriel turns it into a near fall. Kaval with a kick to the chest but Gabriel with a chop. Kaval with kicks but Gabriel with chops as they alternate. Kaval with an elbow to the back of the neck and then he puts Gabriel in a modified octopus. Gabriel with forearms but Kaval with a kick. Kaval with a kick to the head for a near fall. Kaval misses a kick and Gabriel kicks Kaval away and then Gabriel with a head scissors. Kaval misses a clothesline and Gabriel with a few forearms. Kaval with a kick to the midsection but Gabriel with a spin kick and forearm. Gabriel with a Stinger splash into the corner followed by a Dominator for a near fall. Gabriel with a forearm but Kaval works on the arm. Gabriel is able to hit a Blue Thunder Driver for a near fall. Gabriel tries for a springboard moonsault but Kaval moves out of the way. Kaval hits Black Magic but he can only get a near fall. Kaval pulls Gabriel into the corner and he tries for the Warrior’s way but Gabriel moves out of the way and Gabriel tries for the Blue Thunder Driver again but Kaval counters it into a cross arm breaker but Gabriel has his foot on the ropes. Gabriel with a kick to a charging Kaval and then he puts Kaval in the tarantula. Gabriel is on the apron and tries for a springboard move but Kaval with a spin kick and he gets a two count. Kaval with a chop but he misses a charge into the corner. Gabriel with a Koji Clutch and Kaval counters into a rollup and Gabriel releases the hold. Kaval with the rolling kick and then he tries to go up top but Gabriel grabs the leg to stop Kaval from going up top. Gabriel with a kick and he tries for a superplex but Kaval crotches him and puts Gabriel in the tree of woe. Gabriel sends Kaval to the mat and Gabriel hits the 450 Splash for the three count.
Winner: Justin Gabriel
