Is there any chance Ultimate Warrior reconsiders and goes into the WWE Hall Of Fame this year?
Yes, I suppose there is a chance, but time is running out for it to be put together, at least for this year.
TNA recently released former Knockout Alissa Flash. What would happen if TNA signed Cheerleader Melissa (Alissa Flash) to a contract? Do you think anybody would notice or care?
I hate to answer a question with a questions but, why do you think TNA would release someone just to sign them to a contract again? It's not like you need to give someone a different contract to wrestle as a different persona.
I'm sure Vince would consider it, since there's a lot of great matches with American workers in those libraries. However, I believe the All Japan library, or most of it anyway, is owned by NTV, so even if All Japan went out of business, its not like the library would be up for grabs.
Are there any plans for WWE or TNA to start putting out more of their shows and other videos in Blu-Ray (more than just 1 or 2 shows a year)? In addition, do you see them re-releasing shows on Blu-Ray, as seen in other mainstream movies that have been re-touched and re-released in Blu-Ray?
WWE is planning on doing more and more releases in Blu-Ray, like the Royal Rumble. I think eventually we will see all new releases in that format. However, it will probably be some time, if ever, that WWE goes back and re-releases old events in that format.
Regarding your suggestion that Goldberg was one of the most overrated wrestlers of all time, have you seen his match against William Regal in Feb '98 in which Regal refused to be squashed, and the DDP vs Goldberg World Title match from Halloween Havoc '98? I agree that 90% of the time he was a one-dimensional in ring performer, but these matches seem to suggest that the limited arsenal of moves and no-selling were more a part of his written character, than shortcomings on his own behalf... or am I just an old Goldberg mark?
I actually wasn't the one that suggested that, but I do agree he's pretty overrated. That Regal match was hardly an example of Goldberg having any real technical know-how. If anything, it showed how green he was at the time. The DDP match is, by far, the best match Goldberg ever had. However, DDP was known for planning out his matches spot for spot, so if anything, all it shows is that Goldberg was able to memorize what was laid out. So, I'm going to say your admiration for Goldberg is blinding you a bit.
