HULK HOGAN AS TNA CHAMPION, BRUNO SAMMARTINO'S THOUGHTS ON TNA, WWE DIVAS STARRING IN MOVIES AND MORE

By Mike Johnson on 2010-02-28 10:00:00
Are there plans for any WWE Divas taking a lead role in a movie? If given a choice who would be a good choice in a film produced by WWE? Johnson. Austin. Cena. Dibiase. Mickie James?

I haven't heard of any plans in the pipeline for a WWE Diva-led film but given the way they are using WWE performers in supporting roles, I wouldn't be shocked to see it happen in the near future. There's no reason they can't use the Divas in similar fashion in how they are using the Superstars.

Are there any guest hosts that WWE would never, ever have on Raw? Why aren't there guest hosts on both Smackdown and ECW as well?

I think WWE would be open to anyone except OJ Simpson and probably even he would be someone they'd consider. The Guest Host concept was something that was done to promote Raw and raise the company's flagship series' profile within the entertainment world, so putting Guest Hosts on the other shows would greatly negate that. I don't see it happening.

Its well known how legendary wrestler Bruno Sammartino feels about Vince McMahon and WWE. Has he ever expressed any opinion about TNA?

I don't believe Bruno has ever commented on TNA, but suspect he'd feel they don't promote wrestling the way he feels it should be presented. Given that he's not a huge fan of Hulk Hogan, I doubt we'll see Bruno touting their product anytime in the near future, either!

Has TNA ever been interested in contacting the legendary Bruno Sammartino into taking part in either Impact! or a pay per view? Not physically of course but symbolically or something to that effect? Do you think he'd ever be interested?

I haven't heard of anything but if they ever do a PPV in Pittsburgh, it certainly would be a smart idea.

Hulk Hogan, TNA Champion in 2010? My hope is not. However, i fear that, even while he claims he wont be wrestling, a TNA title run for Hogan can't be too far off can it?

Nothing would shock me, except Vince McMahon showing up in TNA. Bischoff is producing, Russo is writing and Hogan is all over the TV. Of course it could happen!!
