CHICAGO WHITE SOX MANAGER SAYS WRESTLEMANIA TICKETS ARE TOO EXPENSIVE, RING OF HONOR OFFERS TO COMP HIM INTO THEIR SHOW THAT WEEKEND INSTEAD

One day after Chicago White Sox Manager Ozzie Guillen tweeted he was looking for Wrestlemania tickets, since "they r way too expensive", Ring of Honor issued the following public invitation, which is a pretty great publicity gimmick for the company:

(Bristol, PA- February 26, 2010)- Internationally acclaimed Ring of Honor, seen in the feature film The Wrestler starring Mickey Rourke and seen every Monday night at 8 on Mark Cuban’s HDNet, has issued a public invite to Chicago White Sox Manager Ozzie Guillen and as many of his family and players as he wants to bring, to come see some REAL pro wrestling. This comes as an answer to Guillen’s recent tweet (“Looking for tickets to go to wrestlemania, I need help with that, they r way too expensive”).

On Friday, March 26 and Saturday, March 27, the bell will ring for ROH in the North Gym of Phoenix College on the biggest wrestling weekend of the year. Ring Of Honor—where such stars as CM Punk, Samoa Joe, Bryan Danielson, A.J. Styles and many more came from—is, simply put, the best wrestling in the world. With its use of Japanese, Mexican and even MMA schools of combat, its intensity level has garnered raves around the world. To see ROH World Champion Tyler Black, Tag Team Champions Briscoe Brothers, and the rest of the ROH roster, is to see the finest in the world.

Ring of Honor will plant Guillen’s party, no matter how large, right up front. With day games in Tucson against Arizona Friday and Colorado Saturday, there will be plenty of time for Guillen to change and officially become an ROH fan. And we have no doubt that he will. There is no harder-hitting, higher-flying, top-notch level of competition than in Ring of Honor…the company where stars are born.

With the legendary Jim Cornette in the house, and a host of incredible matches, we have no doubt that Ozzie and Company will have a great time.
