I recently had the presale password for the Raw show in Miami in June. I signed in and was on Ticketmaster the second it opened. I still can't get ringside seats. How does one get ringside? Why make those completely locked out to the general public? I've been a fan for 30 years, I want to be special enough to get that close to the action! Is WWE telling me that my 30 year loyalty isn't good enough? Hell that dude in the blue shirt and red hat has ringside to every damn show (or so it seems)!
In some venues, people have "first dibs" on tickets. In others, they have hookups to get the seats they want. Some just go there and buy them manually. Some are just lucky and get placed first in the queue even though they logged on when you did. It's not that WWE doesn't want you to have the tickets, it's just that other people have a leg up on you. I know it can be frustrating.
Why doesn't the WWE do their Diva videos anymore? They were not great works of art, but Summer Skin and videos like that allowed the fans to meet the people behind the character (and yes get great shots of really hot women in bikinis). Is this another TVPG fall out?
Yes, that is the primary reason. When they made the decision to be more "family friendly" excessive amounts of diva flesh were pushed to the back burner, much to the dismay of many.
What led to Monty Brown asking for a release from WWE? and, is there any chance we may see him on national stage again?
Brown left to deal with a family issue. I haven't heard his name mentioned by anyone in the business for a while now. Since he's almost forty years old and has been gone more than two years, my best guess is that he probably will not be back.
Lame. Really lame. Monday Night Lame. Jerry Springer was bad enough, but that accident? Oh come on now..lol. I did have another thought too. I never really watched WWE during the time Bret Hart was big, but has he always been this lame? I mean I know he had a concussion. I know he's had a stroke. But when he jumped in the ring to beat on McMahon..he just seemed so ineffectual and the whole thing was….lame. I have to imagine he was much better in his time. And he looks so old and haggard now. I will sure be glad when this is over…lol
First off, if you go to Canada you should keep this rant to yourself. Was Bret always "this lame"? Uh no, he's an all-time great. The guy is 52 years old and suffered a serious stroke, and you wonder why he doesn't look crisp in the ring. Really? Come on already. Sheesh. Do you kick cats and trip old ladies?
Now that TNA is going up against RAW on Mondays, I'm wondering what kind of ratings will TNA need to get before WWE feels threatened enough to make some sort of mention of "that other show"? And do you think that WWE's UN-creative team will dust off the "Huckster" character if/when WWE feels TNA is competitive?
Despite what anyone in the company says publicly, TNA is already on WWE's radar. They are well aware of what is going on. I don't see WWE mentioning them or Huckstering any time soon. They only did that back in the 90s because WCW was beating them. If TNA ever started to beat WWE, maybe we would see a reprisal of that kind of programming from WWE but I don't see it happening before that. I do see WWE doing everything that they can to make sure that TNA never catches up to them however.
