It's funny, I remember this same question being raised when Hulk Hogan signed with WCW. Wasn't true then, and I don't think it is true now.
Has St. Louis ever been considered as a possible place to host Wrestlemania? It seems like Wrestlemania is always in Houston, New York City, Detroit or Chicago. Does the management determine what cities 'Mania is held in by how big the arenas are?
I've never heard of St. Louis being considered for a Wrestlemania. A few years ago, it was WWE looking for the best possible fit for the event. However, Wrestlemania has now become, much like the Superbowl, an event where cities go to WWE and pitch to them reasons for holding the event in their area (since Wrestlemania brings a lot of money into the economy of the city that hosts it). So, if St. Louis wants it, they have to convince WWE to bring it there.
Sometimes the delay is a day, sometimes a week, sometimes longer and sometimes we never go into as much detail on the free site as we do the Elite site. It really depends on the item. Also, we don't "withhold" anything, it is just delayed. We simply give the Elite subscribers, who support this website with their own money (and in all honesty, for a pretty minimal fee) the item before it appears on the free site. As for what particular items are given to the Elite site first, we always make it clear when they are posted on the free site that they were Elite items first. You may not believe in paying for news, but we believe in rewarding those that are keeping this site (both the free and Elite sides) in business.
I don't mind it, because the company was known
as WWF, and sometimes you need to make the designation that you are referring
to the whole company history, not just a segment of it.
How come the WWE can show all of the old WWF logos in history packages, or
old PPVs or whatever, without blurring them, but if they show the WWF scratch
logo, in the same package, it gets blurred? If they would drop the
current scratch logo, would they be allowed to show the old one?
The old block logo is not included in the lawsuit with the Wildlife Fund, so there is no problem with that. Even if WWE were to cease using their current scratch logo, it wouldn't change the status of the "WWF" scratch logo. It still couldn't be used.
