As we've seen, unlike any other month in recent years, WWE has produced two PPV events this year for October, those being Hell In The Cell and Bragging Rights (both of which, well, didn?t do very good?). The 2010 WWE PPV calendar lists both shows taking place on October again. What relation do you guys see in this, and the fact that TNA's Main PPV Bound for Glory is also in October? Could this be a strategy from WWE to try and hurt TNA Bound for Glory's buyrate?
No. While I am sure WWE is happy to try and take away from the top TNA PPV of the year, the reality is that they are doing what they think is best for their business first.
It was reported that TNA released Knockout Sojo Bolt. Some weeks or so prior former Knockout Roxxi (Nikki Roxx) made a surprise return. She hasn't been seen since. What is her status with TNA? Was this just a one time thing? Any chance of Roxxi (Nikki Roxx) returning to TNA full time?
Roxxi will be back with the company on a full-time basis going forward.
If TNA becomes the new WCW and starts a Monday Night Wars type atmosphere with WWE does that make ROH the new ECW in this wrestling war? If wrestling DOES become popular again could Ring Of Honor finally get a tv deal from a more prominent cable channel? One that cable systems already carry like FX.
No. For one, ROH is already in the midst of a deal with HDNet, so as long as they are locked in with that network, they wouldn't be on another network. As for whether 1/4 leads to another war, I don't believe we'll see a complete recreation of that time period - talents are older, technologies are different, etc. but I am sure hoping we do!
So, After the 11/23 RAW can it be any more obvious that WWE reads PWInsider? Or, at least, is listening to the fans? Last week, I believe in a Q&A, a staff writer said they would like to see a Cena/Punk feud if for no other reason than it hasn?t been done and could be some fun matches. I enjoyed last night?s match and think a feud between the two can be done well. Also, it has been weeks, if not months, that the site has been deriding the continual rotation of who is in the RAW main event? even breaking down how many times, months, months straight we've seen any combination of Cena, Orton, HHH and HBK in the title match on PPV. Now, they throw Sheamus in the mix. Someone in Titan Tower that can make matches must read the site?
While WWE does indeed monitor PWInsider.com, I am more likely to believe that the company is paying attention to feedback they get from fans via email and the surveys they sent out.
It was speculated that UFC fighter Brock Lesnar would no longer be able to continue in UFC even after recovering from his current health issues. Is this true? If so, what are the chances of him returning to wrestling again? Perhaps to either WWE or TNA? Or would the results of his health problems prevent him from doing that as well?
If Lesnar isn't well enough to train and compete, he is certainly not going to work in professional wrestling where the travel is far more intense.
