With tonight’s show being hosted by Dennis Miller, and with comments by some people who do audio about my writing style and a challenge made by the Silent Bob of the post Raw audio in the PWInsder Unofficial Chat Room, this report is dedicated to tonight’s guest host.

The actual show report starts on the next page

Last night in San Antonio, we saw a lot of things happen that changed the face of the company. Tonight, we start the build into 2010 and the build to the Royal Rumble and the night when people start pointing at the logo for Wrestlemania 26 . . . the real 25th Anniversary. Last night, we saw John Cena walk away and head for his Fortress of Solitude as he tries to determine what is next after losing the title to the star of the remake of Powder, Sheamus. We also saw the men who considered the Unified Tag Titles to be insignificant win the titles last night. Kofi Kingston continues to be unable to build on his Earl Scheib try out and his brawl with Randy Orton in Madison Square Garden after turning his back to Randy Orton’s Pips before his match against Randy Orton. Since all three brands are represented in the Slammys, we can also talk about the other brand’s matches. From the brand that Titan Towers forgot, Christian successfully showed that a little blood cannot stop his ability to retain the title, but it can really screw up the pace of a match, as he defeated Shelton Benjamin in a ladder match. From the brand that sound forgot, Batista thought he won the World Title against the Undertaker in a chair match, but Teddy Long showed that he is now trying to get on Undertaker’s Christmas card list by initiating the San Antonio Screwjob to try to neutralize the effect of Montreal Screwjob 2.0 when Taker had the title stolen from him by Teddy Long. Maybe Rey Mysterio is now able to escape the ‘I Thought You Were My Friend but cost me the title’ wrath of Batista. The hand picked favorite of Vince McMahon also claimed gold on Sunday night as Drew McIntyre defeated John Morrison to become the new Intercontinental Champion. The Women’s Title stayed around the waist of ‘Phenomenal’ Michelle McCool after her victory over Mickie James.

Tonight is a special night because we have three hours to look back at the great moments in the WWE and the Abraham Washington Show as World Wrestling Entertainment hands out the Slammy Awards. In voting that would make many third world nations and some cities in the United States blush, we will see who wins the coveted trophies. These ballots have been maintained kept in a mayonnaise jar outside Funk & Wagnalls' porch since noon today. After which acceptance speech will Kanye West make an appearance (or Santino dressed as Kanye)?
