As we mentioned in the PWInsider.com Elite section, Richie Steamboat, the son of former NWA World champ Rick Steamboat will be heading to Florida Championship Wrestling shortly to begin a WWE developmental run.  Steamboat has been sending his son to different areas to learn and train over the last two years, including Pro Wrestling NOAH in Japan, WWC in Puerto Rico and Harley Race's school in Eldon, Missouri.  Richie was originally trained by the great George South.  PWInsider.com Elite subscribers can find a 44 minute interview with Richie Steamboat from last April in the Interviews section.

Eddie Edmonds sent the following....During the Intercontinental title match on the TLC PPV, Matt Striker said that Texas hasn't seen an IC title change in about 20 years.  That's incredibly wrong. Rey Mysterio defeated JBL at Wrestlemania earlier this year which in Houston, Texas!   Not only that, but after reviewing the IC title history there were also three other recent switches. Kofi Kingston won the title from Chris Jericho in Dallas at Night of Champions 2008; Umaga defeated Santino Marella in Dallas in July 2007; Kane beat Jericho in Houston in 2002.  So, Striker made a pretty major error.

The Batista: I Walk Alone DVD documentary will be airing on InDemand PPV in January.
