It looks to me like the Main Event Mafia is kaput, but that wouldn't stop TNA from trying to revive it one day. My biggest problem with the fact that it's kaput is it just happened, as opposed to it being a major storyline point. TNA talents were fighting with the Mafia for a year and then it's over? Lame in my opinion.
PWInsider.com is always on my list of websites that I visit every day. I was curious what wrestling websites you like to visit?
There actually are a few that I try to check out every week. I am big on wrestling history, so I love www.thehistoryofwwe.com run by Graham Cawthorne in North Carolina as it's an awesome research tool and is completely different from everywhere else out there. For history, I also love the Mid-Atlantic Gateway website run by Dick Bourne, which has some tremendous interviews as well. You can visit them at www.midatlanticgateway.com. I think Slam! Wrestling does a great job with their styles and long form pieces, especially Greg Oliver, Steve Johnson and Bob Kapur. I also enjoy James Guttman's www.worldwrestlinginsanity.com website. For wrestling discussion, outside of our own Elite message board, www.czwfans.com's Misc forum is my favorite place to read and I also think www.indywrestlingnews.com does a fine job. There are others but those are the ones that come off the top of my head.
In your opinion is there any chance of Angelina Love returning to TNA either this year or in 2010? What is the current situation between herself and the impending issues involving her working VISA?
There's always a chance, but I haven't heard of any movement regarding that situation as I write this on 11/30.
With the signing of Hulk Hogan and Eric Bischoff to TNA is there a danger of destroying the current chemistry among the wrestlers since to me the matches and storylines have been both incredible and inventive. With the vast improvement within the Knockout division what is the possibility of the signings of both Hulk Hogan and Eric Bischoff overturning the apple cart? If its not broke, don't fix it.
Every change brought to a company will have a ripple effect. It's possible Hogan and Bischoff coming in will be the best thing that's ever happened to TNA and there's a chance it will completely decimate the company morale. I don't see how it could change the Knockout division, unless they decided to totally change the entire tone of TNA as a company. Time will tell.
I recently watched the Wargames where Sid Vicious dropped Brian Pillman on his head and then with Pillman clearly seriously injured picked him up and powerbomed him again. How bad was Pillman hurt?
Pillman suffered a concussion and I believe a shoulder injury at that Wargames.
