JEFF HARDY'S FATHER COMMENTS ON HARDY'S CRIMINAL CASE

The Fayetteville Observer featured an article today on Jeff Hardy's ongoing criminal case stemming from his September arrest.  While Hardy did not return requests for comment, his father, Gilbert Hardy did, noting, "He won't talk. He ain't talking to nobody.  He doesn't even want to talk to me."

The remainder of the article features comments from locals who have dealt with Jeff and Matt Hardy over the years, including former ECW star CW Anderson.

Hardy will return to court on 12/2 for a probable cause hearing.  If the determination is made that Jeff probably did commit the crimes he was arrested for, the case would then be passed on to a Grand Jury.  The Grand Jury would review the evidence and make a decision regarding whether or not to criminally indict Hardy on the following charges:

*Felony possession of cocaine.

*Felony drug trafficking of opium

*Felony possession with intent to redistribute a Schedule III drug (two counts).

*Maintaining a dwelling for drug use and/or distribution.

*Possession of drug paraphernalia. (misdemeanor)

Should Hardy end up indicted, he would then be transferred to Superior Court to be tried, unless he opts to make a plea bargain somewhere along in the process.
