The TNA asset was not purchased by Warner Bros. when they acquired the remnants of Midway Games.
TNA sources indicate that the videogame license is something the company is pursuing. One source believed the rights to the actual game Midway was working on at the time of their bankruptcy may have bounced back into TNA's hands. If that source is correct, it means TNA would have a game to hand over to a potential distributor down the line if and when a deal is struck.
When contacted regarding the status of TNA's videogame license going forward this morning, TNA's Steven Godfrey responded, "There is no comment at this time."
The first game, TNA Impact, was released in September 2008.
