The PPV already past, so it obviously didn't happen. Even so, going into the PPV, I'd have said there was no chance. WWE wouldn't have gone with something in that manner out of nowhere, since it would require them to put a focus on a ton of names at once. Given the way they have moved away from factions, with the exception of Legacy, I just don't see it.
So with Shane resigning from WWE, we can more or less safely say now that the company going to Stephanie and Paul (Triple H).. so my question is do you see Vince giving Shane an opportunity to host Raw as we get closer to the retirement date? I think it may be a good idea as Shane has had some memorable matches in the past and what he has done for the company behind the scenes.
It's possible, but I don't see WWE wanting to basically advertise that a member of the McMahon family that was originally groomed to one day replace the current braintrust is moving on outside of the company. My guess is Shane will just quietly continue his job until he departs and then, even then, he'll be consulting "off the record" when needed. He'll still be a stockholder and as a McMahon, he can jump back in whenever he pleases.
Out of the following wrestlers that are currently with WWE do you think would benefit greatly by going to TNA? Evan Bourne, Primo, Carlito, Jamie Noble, Shelton Benjamin, or Charlie Haas? I think any of these guys would be a great addition to the X-Division.
Of the names you've mentioned, I'd say Primo and Jamie Noble. They are the best in-ring workers of the list you provided and they'd be able to immediately adapt and have good to great matches with most of the X-Division performers. That said, all of the names you've mentioned could (and I wish would) be able to do the same in WWE, if they are ever booked to do so.
With Shane's departure and the possible reasons that was posted, do you foresee him cashing in on his WWE stock and go to TNA as a way to stick it to Vince and Steph? Quite possibly taking the opportunity to attempt to finally step out of his father's shadow?
No. There is zero chance Shane McMahon will work inside the wrestling business if it's not for WWE, TNA included. Anyone who believes that is completely detached from reality.
One thing that's really annoying me now is why wont WWE just put Christian onto Smackdown or Raw and give him the chance he deserves as a main eventer? There are storylines all around for him, such as his history with John Cena, the old tag partner Edge where they could have a great feud, there's Matt Hardy the old rival, if Jeff returns then another possible feud, these are just feuds that relates to his past, there's also Punk, Morrison etc the list goes on, my point being there's so many fresh feuds that WWE are ridiculous not to draft him in April, do you see him getting drafted after 'Mania?
If I had to put money on someone being moved in the next draft, it would be Christian. I think he's done just about all he can do on the ECW brand, although I am glad WWE debuted him there in hindsight. It's given Christian a chance to show he can carry a show and have good matches with everyone from Tommy Dreamer to Yoshi Tatsu. WWE could easily do a Christian DVD down the line based on that collection and by having him on ECW instead of going into the obvious by playing off his WWE past, they've allowed him to stand on his own.
