WWE handles all the travel so by the time the November tours come around, the women will be touring with the brands they are now on.
My question is regarding WWE's monitoring of their talents postings on sites such as twitter, myspace, and facebook. After reading Shad Gaspard's post about his illness this past Tuesday, I couldn't help but notice the large amount of grammatical and spelling errors. Errors such as using the word "bye" instead of "by" repeatedly, "Unforchantly" instead of "Unfortunately" and "agene" instead of "again." Does WWE emphasize proper grammar and basic English when its employees post for the world to see? I would think that WWE would want to avoid the bad press things like that could receive.
I am sure WWE would prefer everyone use spellcheck, but the reality is, they can't control what people post on their own personal websites and social networking accounts.
So Nigel McGuiness has signed with TNA. I'm happy
for the guy just because a wrestler with his skill set should get a chance to
shine on a bigger stage, but
Isn't it kind of questionable by TNA to sign an athlete who failed to get
medical clearance from WWE, a company that is presenting a far less
physical/stiff/insane style to it's fans than TNA does ?It somehow remembers me
of the way TNA signed Kurt Angle a few years ago (regarding the
medical issues).
I can see that point of view, for sure. However, McGuinness said he received a clean bill of health from his own physician and I am sure TNA asked to see those records, so you have to take him at his word for that. I am told that his previous biceps tears were what the issue was within WWE, so we'll see in the days to come whether WWE was right or not in making the call to rescind his contract offer.
At the Smackdown show on 10/23/09, there was a Nine-man tag team match. Therefore, if one team has 4 wrestlers and the other has 5, why they called it a tag team match instead of a 5-on-4 Handicap match?
The easy answer here is that WWE simply wanted to call it a Tag match.
And the RAW vs. Smackdown 14-Man Tag Team Match at the WWE Bragging Rights Pay-Per-View will start (or continue) a feud to a RAW vs. Smackdown 5-on-5 Tag Team Elimination Match at Survivor Series? Or the RAW vs. Smackdown theme is only used at the Bragging Rights Pay-Per-View?
I haven't heard where the booking plans will go after the PPV. WWE changes their plans so regularly at this point that they probably don't know for sure, either.
