COUTURE AND TARA SAY TNA PPV SHOVING MATCH WAS NOT PLANNED

By Buck Woodward on 2009-10-20 11:57:45

From the "Shoot or work" file, Kim Couture and Lisa Marie Varon, aka TNA's Tara, are both insisting their shoving match at the Bound For Glory PPV was not a scripted performance, but that they were supposed to interact during the match.

An article on MMA Fanhouse states that the "plan was to have the women engage in a short staredown in the middle of Varon's match. But since Couture arrived approximately 20 minutes before Varon's match started, there wasn't much time to plan it out properly" and that the physical interaction was a result of Varon being "nudged" in the back by Couture and Varon in turn lunging at her for invading her "space" during the match.

Couture insists she is "not getting into pro wrestling" and both ladies state they cleared they air in a phone call yesterday over what Varon is calling "just a miscommunication" between the two.

Varon is planning on attending Couture's fight with Kerry Vera on November 20th, and is still planning on entering MMA herself.  Varon has said she would like to fight Couture, which has resulted in Couture making comments about Varon in interviews.
