Do you feel that if booked right at next year's Wrestlemania as the main event it can be a triple threat match for the World Heavyweight Title between CM Punk, Nigel McGuinness, and Bryan Danielson? What an "honor" it would be to see them in that "ring."
I like your Ring Of Honor puns but I don't see any way that match headlines next year's Mania.
Well, it's pretty obvious many are extremely mad with WWE going TVPG, but I would like to know what the backstage thinks of it, mostly wrestlers, creative and Vince himself.
John Cena loves it since he was a proponent of it. Vince loves it because he made the call to do it. As for the rest of the guys, I know that there are a number of them who would like a more "Attitude" type of product, but they have to do what the boss says.
I read somewhere that John Cena said that he nagged Vince to go PG, is it true? If not, who is responsible for it?
As mentioned above, Cena is definitely into being a more kid-friendly product. Given how it affects his push, who can blame him? At the end of the day though it's Vince McMahon's call to make and he made it.
Do you think WWE TV will be TV14 again? If so, when?
I could see it happening down the road but not now since they are committed (for now at least) to the new direction. My guess is that we will see them make a change when the mood strikes them or business drops to a point where they feel like they need to make the product edgy again.
What would happen if the Swine flu, for example swept through a WWE locker room? It would likely prevent some wrestlers from performing, and cause others to work at a diminished level. What if right before the next big PPV both Orton and Cena got the Swine flu bad? If the WWE continued to operate as usual and not cancel matches or send some wrestlers home until they recovered, they'd risk infecting the whole roster. And as some wrestlers appear on more than one brand, risk infecting all three rosters.
I think that if it was a house show situation, it would be a no-brainer, they would cancel the shows. In the case of a PPV, it's a little trickier since they have obligations to meet. What they did then would depend on who was sick. Guys have worked sick before, but the swine flu is beyond that. They would have to worry about infecting the locker room. My guess is that they would pull the sick guys off of the show, reshuffle the card and make an announcement before the show started so that people who didn't want to buy the new lineup would have the chance not to.
