I not a big fan of the WWF/E's version of ECW. But I did like Kevin Thorn and Ariel. I thought these two had a lot of potential and the WWF/E misused them and let them go. I could only imagine what a tag team of Thorn and Gangrel with Ariel in their corner would be like. In my opinion, you would have the new Brood and I think it would have been successful. I think Ariel is in TNA and Thorn is trying to get in. Why were Thorn and Ariel released from the WWF/E? Do you think Thorn has a chance to make it in TNA? Why doesn't the WWF/E or TNA give Gangrel a chance to wrestle for them?
First off, I am not a big fan of redoing old groups. The Brood produced one megastar in Edge and a solid worker in Christian. They got all of the mileage that there was to get out of it in my opinion, especially with the recent Vampire overload in the media.
Ariel was released after a run in backstage with Dave Batista. She was on the wrong side of that spat. Thorn was released after WWE changed his gimmick and didn't see enough in him to keep him on the roster. Thorne worked earlier this month for TNA in a dark match. So, he is on their radar if they are interested in him.
As for Gangrel, at this point I think his age works against him.
I have a question about the WWE Hall Of Fame. Can a person be inducted twice for different contributions, like how Michael Jackson is inducted to the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame for his singles and group success as a member of The Jackson 5? It'd be nice to see The Hart Foundation get in there, especially for Jim Neidhart, which would mean Bret gets inducted for a 2nd time?
I don't see why not. It's not exactly like WWE has any real rules or guidelines for the Hall, so they should be able to do that if they want to.
Do you think if TNA offered Jeff Hardy and contract to wrestle and Spike TV offered Jeff a contract for a reality show, will he take it??? Do you see this as something TNA and Spike will go after?? They would be fools not to as Jeff Hardy is one of 3 most popular wrestlers today along with Cena and Taker. I think TNA and Spike should go after him.....
Even though he wrestled there previously, before his arrest I would he would have said no since he was happy with his last WWE run and they could help him more with exposure to the new projects that he had planned. But since his arrest, that could very well cloud any future with WWE so now he would probably be more open to such an offer, provided he doesn't go to jail. He very well may have hefty legal bills to pay, which could lead to an earlier return to the business than he had planned if he can get out of his current legal trouble.
Are you guys ever going to open up a mobile page? I used to get you pretty good on my rumor, but not on my rumor 2...now it is impossible! And I depend on you guys for instant news!
As anyone who is reading this on PWInsider.com knows, we just redesigned the site (huge thanks to Adam Parker and Dan Israel for their great work). We did so in a way that would increase the user experience and make the advertisements more functional. The fact of the matter is that we have no corporate sponsorship but still have three full time salaries to pay. We need the revenue generated by advertisements to do that, so the free version of the site is set up to maximize revenue. Unfortunately, mobile viewing doesn't have decent paying ad rates so creating a mobile version of the free site can't be a priority right now. I know some people don't want to pay for the Elite site but I can tell you that it loads very well on my Blackberry so if that is an option, feel free to try it out.
Looking at the PWINsiderXtra page, I see that Jerry Lawler is appearing on the same show as The Kat. Are they getting along nowadays?
I am not sure where their relationship stands but I think it's clear that the wounds have heeled at least enough for him to collect a payday!
