The Antonio Inoki film "Acacia" featuring Inoki as an ex-wrestler will be playing at the Tokyo International Film Festival. The film is about the friendship between the former wrestler and a young boy. The Hollywood Reporter listed it as Inoki's debut role.  I guess they forgot about the Bad News Bears Go To Japan?

Robert Siegel, who wrote the Mickey Rourke film "The Wrestler" is in New York City today and tomorrow to introduce and do Q&A Sessions about his directorial debut "Big Fan" (which is an incredible film) at the Angelika.

Legendary shooter Billy Robinson will be appearing at the Legends of the Ring convention in Monroe, NJ on Saturday 10/24 as Greg Price will be bringing him in.  Price has already announced Buddy Landell will also be appearing at the convention.

Steve sent word that Honkytonk Man's second podcast at www.honkytonkman.net is now online with the former Intercontinental champion discussing Jerry Lawler, Hulk Hogan, Ric Flair and more.

The announced thus far for the 10/24 Tri-State Wrestling Alliance reunion show at the Flyers Skate Zone in Voorhees, NJ features Al Snow vs. Steve Corino, Buddy Landel vs. Glen Osbourne, Larry Winters with DC Drake vs. Jimmy Jannetty, Tony Stetson vs. Breaker Morant, Michael Bruno vs. Johnny Calzone, Don E Allen vs. Rick Perez, plus the Blue Meanie, Kid America, Cueball Carmichael, Max Thrasher, referees John Finegan & Jim Molineaux, and ring announcer Bob Artese appearing.  Hey TWA, where's JT Smith???  For more information, visit www.twaprowrestling.com.
