FLORIDA CHAMPIONSHIP WRESTLING TELEVISION REPORT: 50TH EPISODE; NEW FCW CHAMPION; A MAJOR UPSET

We are live on tape from Tampa, Florida and your announcers are Dusty ‘Funky Like a Monkey for Fifty Episodes’ Rhodes and Byron ‘Halfway to a Hundred’ Saxton.

We begin with Abraham Washington in the ring and he wants everyone to join him to celebrate the fiftieth episode of Florida Championship Wrestling.

Match Number One: Sheamus versus Justin Angel

They lock up and Sheamus powers Justin into the ropes. They lock up again and Sheamus with a side head lock and hip lock throw. Angel with a waist lock and Sheamus with an elbow. Sheamus works on the arm and he sends Angel to the mat. Angel kips up but Sheamus sends him back down to the mat. Angel with an arm bar but Sheamus with forearms. Sheamus stomps on Angel’s hand and he puts Angel in an arm bar. Angel with an arm drag. They lock up again and Sheamus with a forearm and kick to the leg. Sheamus with a forearm. Angel with a drop kick and Sheamus goes to the floor. Sheamus with a clothesline on the floor. Sheamus rolls Angel back into the ring and gets a near fall. Sheamus with a suplex for a near fall. Sheamus with a chin lock as he wears down Angel. Angel with punches to Sheamus’ midsection. Angel with a kick and Sheamus with a kick of his own followed by a hard Irish whip and knee drop for a near fall. Sheamus returns to the chin lock and then he takes Angel back to the mat when Angel gets to his feet. Sheamus has Angel’s shoulders down and he gets a near fall. Angel tries for a jawbreaker but Sheamus with a knee. Angel blocks a suplex attempt and then he kicks Sheamus and hits a springboard cross body. Sheamus with a forearm but Angel with forearms of his own. Angel misses a kick and hits a jumping spin kick. Angel with a springboard moonsault for a near fall. Angel with a kick to the head and a spin heel kick for a near fall. Angel tries for an STO but Sheamus blocks it and Sheamus with a bicycle kick for a two count. Sheamus with a knee and he puts Angel on top. Sheamus tries for a superplex but Angel tries for a sunset flip power bomb. Angel with a handstand rana and a super kick. Angel goes up top and hits the 450 splash for the three count.
Winner: Justin Angel

Byron and Dusty talk about the upset we just saw. They also talk about the rest of the show and a look back at the first forty-nine episodes including showing how many FCW wrestlers made their way up to the main show.

Match Number Two: Alex Riley versus Gabriel

They lock up and Gabriel with a take down into an arm bar and then he works on the arm with a knee drop. Gabriel with an arm bar and Riley with forearms. Gabriel with an arm bar submission and a kick across the throat. Riley gets Gabriel up for a power slam but Gabriel counters and hits a power slam of his own for a near fall. Gabriel tries for a gutwrench suplex but Riley holds on to the ropes. Riley with a hard Irish whip and then he kicks Gabriel in the ribs. Riley with a kick to the ribs and a forearm. Gabriel with an elbow to Riley and then he sent Riley into the turnbuckles and follows it with a clothesline and a running forearm. Riley with a side slam for a near fall. Riley punches Gabriel but Gabriel blocks it and hits a neck breaker for the three count.
Winner: Gabriel

After the match, Gabriel is interviewed by Rosa Mendes at ringside. Gabriel says that he continues to be a man of his word. He says that anything is possible and he is closer to his goal of the Florida Title. Alex Riley attacks Gabriel with a dive through the ropes and he punches Gabriel. The referees come out to separate Riley and Gabriel.

We go to commercial.

We are back and before our next match, Eric Escobar gets on the mic to explain why he did what he did last week. He says that he does not have to explain himself, but he will say why. He says why shouldn’t he. He has been here since day one and he made everyone’s lives better with his performances, but then the fans pushed him to the side. He says that when you get out of line, you get punished.

Match Number Three: Eric Escobar versus Alberto Banderas

Escobar with a kick and forearms. Escobar with an elbow and Banderas with two drop kicks that send Escobar to the floor. Banderas with a baseball slide through the ropes and the battle goes to the floor. Escobar kicks Banderas and forearm to the back. Escobar with punches to the head. Escobar with a neck breaker for a near fall. Escobar with a chin lock and arm bar. Escobar with a forearm to the back followed by a knee. Escobar with a chop and kick followed by a forearm. Banderas with a drop kick to the head and both men are down. Escobar is up first and Banderas with a punch and forearms followed by a drop kick. Banderas with a drop kick in the corner for a near fall but Escobar gets his hand on the ropes. Banderas goes up top for a cross body but Escobar rolls through and gets the three count after getting a handful of tights.
Winner: Eric Escobar

Match Number Four: April Lee versus Alicia Fox versus Serena Mancini versus Tiffany

Serena goes after Tiffany while Alicia works on April. Serena with a shoulder in the corner and Alicia kicks April. Alicia with a forearm to Tiffany but Tiffany with forearms in response. Tiffany with a double clothesline to Serena and Alicia. Tiffany with a drop kick that sends Alicia to the floor. Tiffany appears to go for a suicide dive but Serena with a clothesline and Tiffany rolls to the apron. April with an arm drag from a wheelbarrow position. April goes up top and hits a cross body onto Alicia and Serena. April rolls Alicia into the ring and Tiffany breaks up the cover. Tiffany with an Irish whip to April followed by a monkey flip and forearm. Serena trips Tiffany and pulls her out of the ring. Alicia with a rollup on April but Serena breaks it up. Alicia with a drop kick to Serena and then Alicia misses a spin kick and Tiffany throws Alicia over the top rope to the floor. April sends Tiffany to the floor. Serena has April on her shoulders and then she has April kick herself in the head. Serena with a version of Shock Treatment for the three count.
Winner: Serena Mancini

Match Number Five: Joe Hennig versus Heath Slater versus Tyler Reks for the FCW Title

They circle each other and then Hennig goes after Slater but Slater gets to the floor. Hennig goes after Slater and then he returns to the ring when he sees Reks behind him. Reks and Hennig pinball Slater until Hennig takes over with the punches. Hennig with a back elbow to Slater and Reks with a clothesline. Slater sends Hennig to the floor and then Reks with a clothesline that sends Slater to the floor. Reks with a pescado and we go to commercial.

We are back and Slater with a chin lock on Hennig and Reks is down in the corner. Slater takes Hennig down to the mat and then he kicks Reks. Hennig punches Slater and Hennig with a leap frog and vintage drop kick. Hennig with a snap mare and a vintage Hennig snap neck breaker. Hennig with a punch but Reks with a flap jack. Reks kicks Hennig and then he deals with Slater. Slater works on the arm and has Reks in an arm bar. Reks with a forearm and a flying clothesline. Reks with a drop kick to Hennig and a kick to Slater. Reks drives Slater to the mat and then he hits High Tide for a near fall. Reks goes up to the second turnbuckles for a moonsault but Slater moves. Hennig with a belly-to-back suplex on Reks and then Hennig with Son of Perfectplex for a two count when Slater kicks out. Reks with a kick to Hennig and he has Hennig up for the Burning Hammer but Hennig gets out of the hold. Slater with a flying clothesline to Hennig as he hits a drop kick on Reks but he can only get a two count. Reks kicks Slater and tries for the Burning Hammer, but Slater with knees. Slater tries for Sweetness but Reks sends Slater to the ropes and Hennig pulls them down and Slater goes to the floor. Reks with the Burning Hammer to Hennig but Hennig kicks out. Slater with a rollup on Reks for a two count. Slater punches Reks and then connects with a forearm. Hennig with an inside cradle. Reks with a springboard double drop kick and then Slater gets his foot on the rope when Reks makes the cover. Reks gets a two count on Hennig. Reks punches Hennig and then he runs Joe into the turnbuckles and connects with shoulders. Reks puts Hennig on top and he tries for a superplex but then he punches Hennig to the floor. Slater hits Sweetness from the turnbuckles for the three count.
Winner: Heath Slater
