PWINSIDER Q&A: BRUNO AND THE WWE HALL OF FAME, CHANCES OF FLAIR SIGNING WITH TNA, JENNA MORASCA IN THE RING AND MORE

By Mike Johnson on 2009-08-11 10:00:00

Since returning to WWE Gail Kim has won her first two matches on Smackdown. Since then, on both Smackdown and Raw, she had been on the losing end. While Christian has already won a championship and is getting a very respectful push, Gail Kim seems to be stuck in neutral. Not going anywhere fast. Why hasn't Gail Kim been given a storyline involving herself and current WWE women's champion Michelle McCool?

WWE creative hasn't had anything for her at the point you submitted the question.  It's that simple.  They wouldn't have signed her if they didn't want her.

What are the chances of Ric Flair signing on with TNA this year?

Unless they offer Flair millions of dollars guaranteed, I don't see Flair wanting to make an enemy of WWE.  I'd say 5%.

On a recent TNA Impact! Tracy Brooks won the 10 Knockouts Battle Royal to become a member of the Main Event Mafia. After the match Brooks hugged Kevin Nash. I think twice. At Victory Road it was Jenna Morasca vs Sharmell. Next possible classic matchup: Jenna Morasca vs Tracy Brooks. What do you think?

I think I'd never want to see Jenna Moraca in the ring again.  She would be better served in a non-wrestling role.

I read where WWE Diva Layla El had a wisdom tooth pulled. Did she have to pay for the work herself? Does the WWE have a dental plan for all its wrestlers male and female?

WWE doesn't cover dental work for their performers, but if someone has to get work done based on something in the ring, they will cover it.

So I read a question today about Bruno Sammartino not being in the WWE Hall of Fame and some some feel it isn't really a Hall of Fame without him.  As far as I am concerned, if he doesn't want to be involved with it, that's his prerogative and shouldn't be held against the Hall.  However considering that the only requirements for being in the HoF seem to be having a career of at least moderate significance and being on good terms with Vince McMahon, the HoF isn't really a "true HoF" anyway.  There aren't any standards or protocols for induction or even consideration.  Just the fact that Randy Savage is not in the Hall because of whatever bad blood exists between himself and Vince robs the Hall of any legitimacy in my view.  Unfortunately the HoF seems to be more about selling DVD's and popping a rating than honoring inductees to me, and for them that's a shame.  Your thoughts?

I think the Hall of Fame, like anything else WWE does, is done to promote the company and to plug into its synergy.  Anyone who's looking for a Hall of Fame similar to Major League Baseball's shouldn't be looking to WWE when their continuity is based on what they want their goals to be at the moment.  As far as Bruno, he doesn't like what WWE became and he'll never let that go.  I don't think that can prevent WWE from inducting him into the Hall one day, but I am guessing they will avoid the issue for as long as possible.
