I HAVE NO WORRIES ABOUT A MANIA HANGOVER FOR WWE, TONY KHAN’S BOZO EXPLANATION FOR AIRING THE SECURITY FOOTAGE, EVEN OPENLY BIASED REPORTERS HAVE A RIGHT TO THEIR OPINION AND MORE

Uncle Dave is at it again! This time the crazy old man buried Tatum Paxley from NXT for no reason and compared her to Alexa Bliss and The Unholy Union, calling them all wastes of time. Aside from it being sexist and stupid, it also didn't even make sense because Tatum doesn't have a supernatural gimmick! If anything, she's more early Mickie James and Daffney. Does he even watch the product? How is he this out of touch?

OK, new rule on Uncle Dave.  If he “reports” something that isn’t true, that is fair game to ask about here in the column.  As for his opinions, he is entitled to them.  Do I agree with him when he says, “The Young Bucks make everyone look good” in matches?  No, of course not, but that doesn’t mean he doesn’t have a right to his opinion.  Clearly he likes a niche brand of the product that appears to a relatively small subset of the overall fan base.  That’s his right and he has a right to voice his opinion, as long as he doesn’t “report” it as fact.

So, Moxley has returned to TV as the IWGP Heavyweight Champion to a hero's welcome.  Now AEW has yet another title on their show to muddy the waters.  I can assume Mox will be defending it periodically on TV/PPV.  I would also guess that the title will NOT change hands on an AEW show, so that would make any title defense lack a lot of suspense as to the outcome.

I guess it all depends on who Mox defends against.  If Naito came to Dynamite, I could believe that Mox could lose it to him.  If Will Ospreay sends Kyle Fletcher in there to face him, not so much.  Tony Khan likes Titles, that’s for sure.

And to follow up with Mox, how is PH Hobbs going to benefit from this feud?  He needs wins against top quality opponents and I don't expect him to be getting one against Mox, especially with him holding the IWGP title.  Hobbs is in the same booking pattern as Lance Archer where he squashes lower level guys and then loses to anyone in the upper mid card and above.

I am not being flippant when I say this, the way he benefits is to put his time in and go to WWE when his deal is up.  The booking in AEW is so, so bad.  In most cases, who actually does benefit from Tony’s storytelling (or lack thereof)?  Hobbs is a stud and once he gets away from Tony and gets to WWE, he will be used properly.

Are you concerned about a post-WM40 hangover for WWE? How does it maintain the momentum from such a historic, successful weekend? These next few months will be telling, especially for Cody. It's gonna be a while before we see Roman/Punk/Seth again.

I am not concerned at all.  TV has been really good since Mania and HHH has shown me when he was booking NXT that he always has a plan going forward.  Just look at The Bloodline.  That story is just beginning now with Solo and Tama Tonga.  I am not concerned at all.

Oh my, where to begin! It's widely reported the Bucks were not in favor of airing the Wembley footage, yet the Final Bozo does an interview and says it was the Bucks idea.... He also says the backstage "incident" impacted the Bucks in-ring performance because they could not pray, and messed with them mentally. I recall Punk and Joe having a pretty damn good match, and did not appear affected at all. So the Bucks are that weak minded, that this "incident" had such an impact on their performance?

For those who aren’t Elite members, Mike Eps bestowed Tony Khan with the title of The Final Bozo on our 4/13 show in response to his ridiculous decision to air the All In Wembley footage.  But yes, I agree with you, after hearing Tony’s ridiculous explanation in that interview, he showed he earned the name.  It’s so, so bad.  And what’s worse is that we say this week that the footage gave him a one week mini-bump in the ratings and then Dynamite was back down again going into the Dynasty PPV.
