The local media in Florida is reporting that Visit St. Pete/Clearwater (VSPC) has stated that the 2024 WWE Royal Rumble brought a positive economic impact of $47,047,401 to the local area.
The report calculates there was $28,337,038 in total direct spending and $2,923,664 in taxes generated from the event originating from the area.
The article notes that the city was chosen over Orlando and Seattle to host the event.
