Has there been any word on a new WWE DVD distribution plan?
No, and I don't believe there will be unless a third party licensee comes to WWE and wants to pay them a TON to produce DVDs. WWE's future is streaming media. They aren't worried about what they can make from DVD sales when they can get a $5 Billion Netflix deal.
What happens to the WWE Network when the new deals go through?
Everything will slide to Netflix internationally and as existing deals expire, those markets will be handled by Netflix as well. The WWE Network as it exists, will be shut down eventually.
Did I really see you report GCW will have a Punjabi Prison match Wrestlemania weekend? How could they do that?
They have announced that. I have no idea what it will look like or what the concept will be, but they've announced one!
What do you think of the controversy over Kevin Nash not going to Sting's retirement match?
I don't know that there is any controversy except with people on Twitter who need to see sunlight. Given that those who were contractually obligated to WWE in some form, like Lex Luger and DDP couldn't and didn't appear on camera, my guess is Kevin Nash wouldn't have either. I don't think Nash not being there means he cared any less for Sting the person or about his retirement. He couldn't be there, so he wasn't. It's just one of those things that become a talking point among those who have nothing better to do then type with their thumbs on their phone. In my mind, there's zero controversy.
Best tag team of all time - GO!
I always have said the Bobby Eaton and Stan Lane version of The Midnight Express was the best tag team of all time, for me. I truly believe that whatever the "best" anything is was probably defined by the first thing you saw at a young age. I saw lots of other awesome team, but The Midnights will always be the apex of tag team wrestling, for me, personally - THE END.
