The WWE Wrestlemania Travel Package information that was released today in advance of packages going on sale next month list the Saturday 4/6/19 NXT Takeover event at the Barclays Center as "NXT Takeover: New York", which means that event has been re-branded, ending the run of the show having the Brooklyn branding.
Triple H has long referred to the Brooklyn events as being NXT's own version of Wrestlemania as the August 2015 Takeover: Brooklyn event was the first major scale arena-sized Takeover event, featuring Bayley vs. Sasha Banks and Finn Balor vs. Kevin Owens in a Ladder Match headlining. There have been four Brooklyn events since, all taking place over Summerslam weekend. This will be the first NYC-based Takeover held over a Wrestlemania weekend.
