The Miztourage beat The Hardys and Jason Jordan in a good match.  The story was that Miz poached a pin on Jordan so it looks like Kurt Angle’s son is going into an IC Title feud with The Miz.

Neville beating Akira Tozawa to win his Title back was outstanding.  These two deserved to be on the main show, not the pre-game.  But that is life.  If WWE wants people to really grasp the Cruisers and 205 Live, they should present them as being really important on the PPVs/Special Events.  Always putting them on the pre-show, no matter how good their matches are, doesn’t help either the wrestlers or the brand.  WWE needs to rethink their strategy with the Cruisers because these two were absolutely main show worthy.  As for the feud, I don’t think it’s over yet, and, it shouldn’t be.  These two are amazing.

New Day and Usos worked their bitts off.  They put Big E in with Xavier and once again Xavier held up his end.  It made for a great dynamic to see the Big Man/Little Man team work the match in a classic pro wrestling kind of way.  Xavier showed again how good he is, and that is really good.  They had tons of near falls and it could have gone either way.  In the end, it was carnage.  X hit Use.  Use through X on Use.  E came in and took out Use.  Use tagged Use and they went nuts on Big E with kicks.  They laid him in the center and went up for double Superfly splashes.  Use pinned E and we have new tag team champions.  They had a great match.  These guys work so well together.  The fans loved it.

If someone was on the fence, they got three strong matches and should spend ten bucks on the show.

After a KFC commercial, Shawn Michaels came to the ring as Colonel Sanders.  You read that right.

John Cena vs. Baron Corbin is opening the show.

Guess who's out first?  And yeah, he got the reaction you expect.

Corbin out next to not much either way.  You know how to change that WWE?  Have him look strong against John Jack.

John started out in corny mode and that led Corbin to work him over big time.  Corbin was in control big time early on.  Cena got some hope spots when Corbin was talking to Cena.  The crowd chanted where his briefcase was and that led Cena to come back a bit, but it didn't last and Corbin hit a Chokeslam Backbreaker for a two.

Cena came back and did his greatest hits but Corbin turned it into Deep Six for the two.  He then pounded Cena's face with forearms and took off his shirt.  He really needs to win.  He threw kicks at John.  And just as I said that he ran into a clothesline and ate an AA, 1-2-3.  Another young guy bites the dust.  Well, it's not NXT anymore Toto.  Great.  This really helps that upstart kid Cena while it doesn't hurt the made vet Corbin.  Unreal.  Totally unreal.  If this is an omen Samoa Joe should get a sudden illness now.

I will include this tweet since you have NEVER seen this before, except every other freakin' time.

Natalya challenging Naomi is up next.  I have lost my NXT and SummerSlam pre-show glow.  I hope Naomi can bring it back.

These two worked really hard and had a war.  Natty played the smart vet and got her stuff in.  Naomi kept coming back.

Near the end Natty got the Sharpshooter but Naomi used her power to drive her into the corner.  Naomi went for the moonsault but missed.  Natty grabbed her, took her to the center of the ring and put on the Sharpshooter, NEW CHAMPION!  This was really, really, really good.  Natty is so good and the match was strong.  They brought back the glow.  Carmella should not cash in now.  No way, no how.  And since she isn't fighting John Cena she probably won't.  Naomi is sad.  Narry doesn't care.

Big Show vs. Big Cass with Enzo in Terrell The Elder's Shark Tank is next.

This was a little like one armed Randy Orton vs. Jinder Mahal and the Singhs for the first half.  Show was in control with the bad hand.  I was wondering what the hell was going on but then Cass came back.  As he was beating down Show Enzo, who didn't shut up the whole match, oiled himself up and slid out of the cage.  Cass killed him immediately.  Then he hit a big boot on Show and got a two.  He hit another boot and the Empire Elbow and got the pin.  The right guy won but in my opinion it was a little harder than it should have been.
