Can you tell me what is the deal with Carmella? Does WWE really want to put the women's title on here, and if so, why? After all the great strides in that department, it seems like a step back to give her the title.
I take it you don’t like her. I do. I think she’s solid in the ring and I enjoy her character. She has come a long way, especially since she was part of an act with Enzo and Cass and then was put out on her own.
Recently, the WWE has been concerned about selling out shows in top-drawing markets such as Philadelphia (which hosted WWE Battleground last July), Toronto and St. Louis (which hosted Money in the Bank last June) but apparently isn't too concerned about selling out events in Seattle, Kansas City, Portland and Denver which are not top-drawing markets. Thoughts?
WWE wants to draw as big of a house as they can in each venue. I don’t think there is anywhere that they don’t care about how big the crowd is.
I just subscribed to NJPW world and have no idea as to where to start. What shows should I be watching first?
Wow, there is a lot there to watch. If it were me, I would probably go back a couple of years and start there. It will allow you to get an idea who the characters are and give you more context as to what makes Okada Okada, for example.
Has WWE been dipping into the snuff lately? Really now, Kurt Angle, the GM of Raw, has to ask a wrestler who he is, like he does not know he is a wrestler? Really? How would he have gotten into the building? Do you think that anyone buys this junk?
That is where Vince McMahon would say that you have to give them poetic license. That is where I would say that WWE really needs a continuity editor.
To follow-up on the Undertaker Hall Of Fame question, can you see him speaking in his actual voice, which is much higher and softer, or will Mark speak in his UT, deep voice? That would be sticking to the UT gimmick, albeit also "breaking" character.
I would guess he would maybe occasionally use the gimmick voice but I think it would be kind of goofy for Mark Calaway to appear and do the Taker voice for the whole thing. It’s about the man going into the Hall and I would think at that time he would be the man, reflecting on a great career.
