CASE REPORT FOR PATRON/PAIGE AIRPORT SITUATION RELEASED, PATRON ATTORNEY ATTACKS REPORTING OF INCIDENT

By Mike Johnson on 2017-07-27 00:20:00

Last night, Keith McMahon, the attorney for Alberto el Patron and Paige, took to Twitter to post pictures of what was stated to be a case report related to the 7/9 Orlando, Florida airport incident involving each of his clients.

In the report, which listed Jose Rodriguez (Patron) as the victim, it was noted that the offender (not listed, but obviously Paige based on previous public statements) was not suspected of using drugs or alcohol.  The case report listed the weapon as "Hands/Fist/Feet."

Interesting to note that McMahon, in the same posting, attacked the media for "false reports" from "untrained reporters" not doing their due diligence.  It should be noted that PWInsider.com first broke the story on 7/10 and that all of our reporting was backed by official statements and quotes from representatives of the Orlando and San Antonio Police Departments.  Obviously, we stand by our reporting.

In his Tweet, McMahon stated that the case report proves there was no "physical harm" and "no arrests" and categorized the situation as "an argument between a couple that others exploited."

Numerous PWInsider.com requests for the police report related to the 7/9 incident have been declined by the Orlando Police Department due to the investigation remaining ongoing.

Orlando Police did state that their investigation revealed that Paige, based on the evidence uncovered, could be charged with domestic violence battery, but that would be up to the State Prosecutor's office, which has yet to move forward with those charges.  Should Paige (who admitted on Twitter she was the aggressor in the situation) be charged, she would be immediately suspended indefinitely by World Wrestling Entertainment under their domestic abuse policy.  Should she be convicted, she would be immediately released by the company.

Global Force Wrestling suspended Patron, their current champion, in the wake of the incident and have yet to rescind the suspension.  Yesterday, GFW's Dutch Mantel stated during a media teleconference that an internal investigation into the situation remained ongoing as GFW owners Anthem Media were taking the situation "very seriously."
