WWE NXT REPORT: ASUKA HAS AN OPPONENT FOR TAKEOVER, DREW MCINTYRE SPEAKS, OHNO VERSUS ITAMI, AND MORE

We are at Full Sail University and your announcers are Nigel McGuinness, Mauro Ranallo, and Percy Watson.

Match Number One:  Ember Moon versus Lei'D Tapa

Tapa with a clothesline and she throws Ember across the ring.  Tapa with a kick and head butt.  Tapa runs into a boot from Ember and Ember goes to the turnbuckles for a tornado suplex.  Moon with a drop kick and thrust kick.  Ember with a forearm to send Tapa to the mat.  Moon goes up top and hits Eclipse for the three count.

Winner:  Ember Moon

After the match, Ember gets on the mic and she says she wants Asuka at Takeover:  Brooklyn.  Asuka wants competition and Ember says she is standing here and she will give Asuka everything she desires.  We have been on this journey before and she is not afraid to do it again.  She is ready to defeat the undefeated Empress of Tomorrow.  Are you ready for Ember Moon?

We see a tweet from Roderick Strong saying that he is not done with Bobby Roode.

We go to commercial.

We are back with an Aleister Black video package.

Match Number Two:  Akam and Rezar (with Paul Ellering) versus David Ramos and Timothy Bumpers in a Non Title Match

Nikki Cross gets on the ramp between The Authors of Pain and the ring.  Aleister Black and Alexander Wolfe attack Bumpers and Ramos and send them to the floor.

Akam and Rezar go to the ring and all four brawl in the ring.  Akam sends Wolfe across the ring and hits a splash.  Dain with a clothesline to Rezar but Rezar wtih a clothesline to Dain.  Akam with snake eyes to Wolfe followed by a clothesilne from Rezar.  Akam and Rezar take care of Dain.  

Nikki holds Dain back while Wolfe laughs on the ramp.

We see a video package for the Street Profits, Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins.

We go to commercial.

We are back and the announcers talk about what happened between Sanity and the Authors of Pain.

We take a look at the issues between Andrade Almas and No Way Jose, with the addition of Zelina Vega.

We see footage of an incident between No Way Jose and Zelina Vega.  They both arrive at Full Sail and she says she admires that Jose tried to handle his business, but you got involved in her business and you lit a fire under Andrade Almas that you cannot dance around.

Match Number Two:  Velveteen Dream versus Cezar Bononi

They lock up and Dream with a knee and forearm to the back followed by a European uppercut.  Dream with another knee and forearm followed by kicks in the corner.  Dream with punches.  Dream argues with the referee.  Bononi with kicks to Dream followed by punches and Dream goes down.  Bononi with an atomic drop and Dream comes out of the corner and is met with a drop kick.  Bonini with a Michinoku Driver for a near fall.  Bononi tries for a pop up power slam but Dream gets to his feet and hits a rolling Death Valley Driver.  Dream goes up top and hits the elbow drop for the three count.

Winner:  Velveteen Dream

After the match, Dream is asked about his goals in NXT.  Dream asks the interviewer what is her goals.  Dream says he will not talk in front of the ugliness that is the NXT Universe.

William Regal is asked about Ember Moon's challenge.  William says he believes that Ember is ready so Ember will face Asuka at Takeover:Brooklyn.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Drew McIntyre makes his way to the ring.

Drew says in one month, the main event of Takeover will be Drew McIntyre versus Bobby Roode for the NXT Title.  For everyone who has been here for the entire ride, thank you.  For the new people on the ride, we have four short weeks until Brooklyn.  Drew says he only goes forward so he will not look back on things.  Drew says once upon a time, he was not the man you see now.  He was once the Chosen One.  He says he expected opportunities to be given to him.  He felt entitled.  When he wasn't the hardest worker in the room, that is when he failed.

When he left the WWE, he realized it was his dream and his fate.  He had to be the hardest worker in the room, but he was the hardest worker in the world.  The more he grew, the more success he had, and the more companies grew with him, it was not because of him.  It was because of all of the people working together to be the best and that was why he signed with NXT.  We walk side by side as equals except for one person, Bobby Roode.

Drew says that by looking into Bobby's eyes, all he sees is entitlement.  You are not entitled to anything.  This is not Bobby Roode's NXT.  It is the people in the crowd's NXT.  Drew has a message for Bobby Roode.  You are not NXT, WE . . . ARE . . . NXT!

We go to commercial with another Aleister Black video package.

We are back and Bobby Roode will appear on NXT next week.  Johnny Gargano will face Raul Mendoza.

We go to comments from Raul Mendoza about next week's match.  He says he knows that Johnny has been training hard to return to NXT, but he has been training hard too.  Maybe next week is not about Johnny Gargano's return, but it will be about Raul Mendoza.

Match Number Three:  Hideo Itami versus Kassius Ohno

They lock up and Ohno works on the wrist and he takes Itami to the mat.  Itami with a leg take down and he starts to work on the leg.  Itami with a kick and forearm but Ohno with a chop.  Itami backs Ohno into the ropes and Itami with forearms.  Ohno with a chop and kicks.  Itami with kicks.  Ohno blocks a kick and Ohno sends Itami face first to the mat and Ohno with a drop kick for a near fall.  Ohno with a chop but Itami refuses to be Irish whipped.  Ohno with a boot to Itami.  Ohno goes to the apron and Itami with a slap and kicks to the chest as Ohno hangs over the middle rope and then Itami with a leg drop that sends Ohno to the floor.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Itami with a kick to the midsection followed by a knee drop and Itami gets a near fall.  Itami with a kick to the back.  Itami kicks Ohno in the head and then kicks Ohno in the upper chest.  Itami with a neck breaker for a near fall.  Itami with a rear chin lock.  Itami with knees to the back and a kick to the back.  Itami kicks Ohno in the face and then he returns to the upper chest.  Ohno is sent to the mat and gets a near fall.  Itami with a rear chin lock.

Ohno with a chop but Itami with a boot out of the corner and then he hits a tornado move to the apron and drops Ohno on the top rope.  Itami comes off the turnbuckles and is met with a chop.  Ohno with more chops but Itami with a kick to the chest.  Ohno with clotheslines followed by a flying boot.  Ohno with a discus kick for a near fall.  Ohno with a back senton for a near fall.  Ohno misses a splash into the corner and Itami with a kick and he hits a suplex.

Itami with a hesitation drop kick into the corner.  Itami gets Ohno on his shoulders but Ohno goes to his feet.  Ohno with a boot to the head but Itami with a kick to the groin and the referee calls for the bell.

Winner:  Kassius Ohno (by disqualification)

After the match, Itami punches Ohno.  Itami with kicks in the corner and Ohno is not moving.  Itami with a GTS to Ohno and he picks up Ohno for a second Go To Sleep and Ohno is down.  Itami leaves the ring and then he returns to the ring to pull Ohno to the floor and he gets Ohno on his shoulders and he drops Ohno face first onto the ring steps.

We go to credits.
