VINCE RUSSO FILES ORDER OF PROTECTION AGAINST JIM CORNETTE, FULL DETAILS

By Mike Johnson on 2017-06-21 22:15:00

Former WCW and WWE writer Vince Russo filed an order of protection against Jim Cornette on 6/16 at the Posey County Superior Court in the State of Indiana, alleging that he had been a "victim of stalking" by Cornette.  The order alleges that Cornette has been stalking and harassing Russo since October 1999, across several States.

Russo listed the alleged incident of stalking and harassment as being the 6/15 episode of Cornette's podcast on MLWRadio.com where Cornette promised that he had a "gift" for Russo, which you can listen to below:

Russo and Cornette, had been, as covered here on PWInsider, exchanging quite a bit of venom online lately

The order listed current WWE Performance Center Coach Terry Taylor and "the public audiene" (spelled incorrectly by Russo, who had filled out the order by hand) as witnesses.  Taylor was an executive with TNA Wrestling (now Impact) when he forwarded an email from Cornette to Russo showing that Cornette noted that he dreamt of killing in Russo in his dreams.   The order also alleged that Russo was "publically" (sic) threatened.

Cornette was served with the order by local police at his home this evening in Louisville, Kentucky.  He was ordered to stay away from Russo, his wife Amy, Russo's home and Russo's place of employment.   Cornette had been alleging on his podcast that Russo was in fact unemployed.  The order did not specify the location of Russo's employment.
