TAKEOVER BROOKLYN ON SALE, WWE SIGNS TRINIDAD, MADUSA SPECIAL COMING TO WWE NETWORK

By Mike Johnson on 2017-06-09 09:39:00

WWE NXT Takeover: Brooklyn tickets officially go on sale this morning at Ticketmaster.com.  For the first time, the top ticket price will include a take-home commemorative NXT Takeover chair.  The top ticket price for the show is $405, which is certainly the highest price point for any NXT event.

WWE was filming Alunda Blayze/Madusa while she was working as a Guest Coach at the Performance Center recently for a planned WWE Network documentary special.

Thea Trinidad, aka Rosita in TNA, officially debuted for WWE on this week's NXT, slapping Andrade "Cien" Almas during a segment filmed where he was leaving Full Sail Live with some women to go party.  WWE had been pursuing Trinidad to sign her since The Rock pushed for her to play the role of AJ Lee in the forthcoming Fighting with My Family WWE Studios film.  There was talk backstage over Wrestlemania weekend that she was going to debut at Takeover with Almas, but that didn't happen.  She's a special talent and I suspect she's going to do well there.

Set for next Wednesday's WWE NXT:

*WWE NXT Women's champion Asuka vs. Nikki Cross vs. Rudy Riot.
*Ember Moon vs. Peyton Royce.
*Velveteen Dream vs. Raul Mendoza.
*WWE NXT Tag Team champions The Authors of Pain in action.
